3-ish Month Update - Up front, I'd like to say I WILL buy another pair when these do wear out. They're just incredibly comfortable and look very nice. BUT The insoles that came with them have already been replaced once with a name brand. Stitching where toe is attached to sole has come loose on one boot. I hit it with a lighter and no issues since. The steel toes have saved me an uncomfortable crunching from a rolling tractor hauler trailer. It did deform just slightly so the left boot toe is kinda pushed toward the right...At the end of the day my pinky toe on the left gets a little chaffed, but not enough to blister. The leather is holding up really well and takes polish / cleaning neatly. Tread on sole is wearing evenly, but it is noticeably wearing after only three months. Also, as the temperatures outside warm up, these are getting uncomfortable because of the extra padding inside. Might just have to use these in the cool months because my feet are getting sweaty as heck. These are definitely grippy and warm in the winter weather. Highly recommended for cold snowy climates. --------------------------------------------------- Original Review Follows: I am genuinely shocked by how comfortable these boots are. The leather is plush. Reminds me of my old Docs, really. They come with some additional pads to get a good fit, and they are a must have if you've got a foot that fits into the 0.5 category and you have to order a size up. I'm a 12.5 EE. I got the 13, and they're a great fit. The toe cup is also nice and wide, so no rubbing. I've worn them daily for the past week and they didn't need any sort of break-in period. They're just super comfortable out of the box. Very well insulated, very stylish, and just an overall great daily boot. Not sure how they'd hold up for construction, but for general use on your feet and a few miles of walking...should last a good long while. So far I've not had a chance to test slip resistance or anything as we're having an unusually dry and warm winter...but I'll update when I get to. I've had more compliments on these boots than anything I've worn before from both men and women. First thing I did when I got them, though, is put on some thicker laces. The ones these come with are not much better than yarn. Haha

I bought the SUREWAY Men's Heavy Duty Moc Toe Work Boots looking for something durable and versatile rather than strictly for construction work. Something that was more of a bang for my buck. Normally weather boots cost 100+. I wanted a pair of boots that could handle a bit of everything. City weather, walking, and the occasional rougher terrain. Right out of the box, the boots feel very solid and well made. I chose the Steel Toe Dark Brown boots and they feel thick and durable, and the Goodyear welt construction gives them that classic, sturdy work boot feel. They definitely seem like they’re built to last. One thing I really appreciate is the comfort. Even though these are technically heavy-duty work boots, they’re surprisingly comfortable for everyday wear, even if they can be a little heavy. The wedge sole is supportive and makes walking around the city much easier than I expected from a work-style boot. I also love the additional insole for a tighter vertical fit, since these are made for men, I had a lot of room inside the shoe. Another plus is how versatile they are. I can wear them when I need something rugged and practical, but they still look good enough for casual everyday use. They’ve handled rain, cold weather, and long days on my feet without any issues. I'm hoping these last me quite a bit. Will update if anything changes.

Please note, i am not a contractor and do not wear these boots in construction areas. I do wear them while doing my yard work, work around the house or will wear them to my job where im a network engineer. These boots are very comfortable, so much that I have purchased 3 pairs. I purchased my first pair in January of '24. After 7 months the exterior of the boot has held up very well. The leather will significantly stretch out after wearing them a couple weeks but they also provide an additional insole that helps keep them snug. HOWEVER, the inside of the boots have not faired as well. Its hard to take photos of the insde of the boot but I tried my best to capture how the inside of the boot is completely falling apart. The included photos are of the inside of the boot above where your toes are. There is some type of rubber substance inside these boots that are crumbling apart and i need to take them off to empty the "pebble" size pieces that will start to bother your feet over time. Another thing about these boots. One of the pairs of boots I bought has an American Flag stitched to it so I thought these boots were American Made and what an incredible deal to get a pair of genuine leather work boots for under $100. After doing some research Sureway is a Chinese company, their boots are shipped from the USA. They are however very comfortable boots and the leather seems to be of very good quality. They may not great if you are a professional contractor but for everyday wearing they are good boots.

My 6 month review. I decided to go with these instead of name brand boots. I am pleasantly satisfied. They're still waterproof, comfortable on ladders, and holding up well. I work residential new home construction as an electrician/HVAC. I live in Michigan. We had a harsh winter, I can't say they were hot but with a good pair of socks on they were good enough. The traction was good on ice, and I didn't bring a lot of snow into the homes, and knocking the boots they cleaned up very easily. This spring we had lots of mud. The traction was good and they didn't collect a lot of mud in the tread. I am on my knees a lot, as you can see from the wear on the sides and the top. They are holding up as well as all the others do. Most of my boots wear out at 1 year. If I spend the extra money on $200 boots I try to use them for 2 years. At this price point, I will buy again. I wish they kept there shape a little better, and the shoelaces I had to replace after 2 months.

I work as a mechanic servicing big rigs. I am in diesel and oil on concrete all day long. Wearing boots for 8 - 9 hours every day. I am 56 and my feet hurt every day in my Timberlands (which are nice heavy boots). I needed a change. These boots really fit the bill. It's been a few weeks now since I got them. The oil resistance to slipping on the floor is quite good. Much better than my old boots. I have a confident sure footing now. No more baby steps around the pits. Comfort level is much better too. Insoles are great. I no longer have to fold toilet paper between my toes like I did in my old boots. My feet aren't in pain anymore. So far the leather is holding up. Stiching is holding up. No tears or separations, and they get constant exposure to garage type oils and fuel. So I had to leave a good review for others looking for a comfortable boot with a short break in period and excellent slip resistance. I definitely recommend.

Despite the positive reviews, I was skeptical about these boots as it’s the first pair from Sureway I’ve owned and I’ve always been a Thorogood guy when it comes to a quality built moc toe safety boot, but I have to admit, they are quite literally one of the most comfortable out of the box boots I’ve ever purchased, just as many others had commented on in their reviews. Now I can’t give an in depth review as it’s only been the first day of wearing them, so we’ll just have to see how they hold up. That said, as long as they hold true to the durability commented on by the other customers in their reviews, if you’re in need of a budget safety toe work boot, this may just be what you’re looking for. Now they aren’t the heaviest steel toe boots I’ve ever worn, but not the lightest either. What I will say is that I don’t think their weight is going to pose an issue throughout the day, but that’s also somewhat dependent on the person wearing them. Again out of the box comfort was top notch! The break-in time will be next to non outside of breaking-in the outer souls a bit, which is pretty standard across the board when it comes to boots. The only other thing I can see being a possible issue for some, is if you have a narrow foot. If that’s you, these could end up being a bit to loose for you. My feet aren’t wide but aren’t narrow either and admittedly I will most likely need to wear a thicker sock with these especially over time as they stretch with continuous use. Outside of that, these boots look great, feel good straight out of the box and I personally believe would make a great choice for someone on a conservative budget or someone who doesn’t wanna spend $250-$500 on higher end pair of work boots. They also have other moc toe style boots that may fit the shape of your feet better than these, so keep that in mind as well. Maybe order one of each if you’re able to, then compare and keep the one you feel fits you foot shape and needs best. Now I’ll always be a Thorogood boot guy, but regardless, I think Sureway has put out a quality budget friendly boot that looks and feels great to me! So far I’m very happy with them and the potential money they may end up saving me later down the road.👍🏼

This is the most comfortable work boot. I bought with next to no break in time needed waterproof steel toe black size 8 1/2. I wear a woman’s size 9 1/2.. I purchased an almost $300 pair of boots on here from the very well-known brand symptom right back. I couldn’t even stand to have them on. They were so uncomfortable. These are amazing. Will update on how they hold up.
