Excellent glue gun for the money. Tried the comparable size and style from HD and it failed miserably. Moved to this one since it uses the ryobi 18v batteries. Heats up fast and does not drip. Using the same brand of glue sticks. Would highly recommended.

I’m not going to lie, this is nifty, I’ve got teachers from down the hall borrowing this bad boy. It’s not even heavy like some might think. I use it with a ryobi battery and the long glue stick so I can get my job done quicker. It’s gets plenty hot quickly, and I can stand on a ladder without running an extension cord. I haven’t experienced the battery dying yet but I did accidentally switch it off unknowingly. Best advice buy an extra battery to swap out. ... show more

Super convenient to use, just plug in a Ryobi 18v battery and you are gluing in minutes. Heats up quickly. Note that you will need to buy the glue sticks that work with this as they are thicker than my other wired glue gun.

I have several Ryobi tools but decided to buy this cheaper glue gun. It works great and so far no problems. Saved a lot of money buying this Sure Bonder instead of the Ryobi gun. My Ryobi batteries work perfectly on my Sure Bonder.

And it works with an interchangeable battery charging system I already have, it's half the price of the battery manufacturer's model, is lightweight, warms up in under 5 minutes, claims to run for over 3 hours, and has an off switch.
