Stand is fantastic. It allowed us to place the projector directly in the middle of the wall at the distance we wanted. It’s sturdy but if you place something heavy on the base you will feel better about it not wobbling. Anything 5 pounds or more does the trick. I actually found the included ball head too unstable and attached the projector directly to the mount without the ball head. Hasn’t moved at all and have used it in several locations around the home. When you extend all the way you’ll need an extension cord, my power cable was too short :).

This projector stand really is a game changer and allowed me to take full advantage of using my projector. Previously I had to have my projector on a coffee table in front of my couch. The projection size was okay, but really nothing to write home about, probably around 80". But the more annoying thing was that it took up so much room on the coffee table with cords draped in the side. This stand made all of those annoyances go away. I placed the stand behind my couch, which gave me the extra distance required to get around a 100" projection, not to mention it freed up my coffee table! Assembly was very straightforward and came with all the tools you needed. The directions were clear as well. The stand itself is basically all metal, with the exception of some of the components on the projector mount, which in my opinion is appropriate. One thing I love about the stand is it's adjustable height and how height it can go. It pretty much will clear any couch. The stability of the stand is okay, since the bottom is a solid metal plate, but probably wouldn't be a bad idea to add additional weight on the base just to be safe. Ultimately I am extremely happy with my purchase, and the functionality it gave me was well worth the money. I highly recommend this product for budget theater setups where wall or ceiling mounts are not an option.

Simple to setup and holds the protector fine. The tray doesn't hold it level, requires some adjustment periodically. Great value. Smartest foot print. Goes behind the sofa, along the wall.

I thought that the problem with this stand might just be the instability, as others posted in their reviews, and I was fine with that because it was going behind my couch. The real problem lies in the ball joint that is supposed to help fine tune the viewing angle. It doesn’t tighten enough and the projector ends up flopping over constantly. It was such a headache for the 3 days I really really gave it my best try. I wanted to love it and not have to go through the hassle of a return but there was just no way of rigging it to work at all. I don’t recommend this product at all.

Meh. It is solid metal which is why I chose it. it came with rust dust already on it which I was able to wipe off easily. It is functional in the ways it should be, but with some annoying elements. For example, the bolts and parts that screw on to each other were all very tight and difficult connect without forcing it. But after forcing them, they connect solidly. The ball head part is a little annoying. When you loosen the ball head adjuster, the plastic part that encases the ball also comes lose and falls down a little, getting in the way, which is annoying every single time.

I got this to replace using a tripod for my projector, and it’s exactly what I needed. It's sturdy, space-saving, and easy to tuck away when not in use. One tip for anyone setting it up: getting the inner pole of the telescoping arm out was a bit tricky. My partner and I were stumped at first — he even thought it didn’t have an inner pole! But I figured it out: use the provided nut, screw it onto the pole, and use it as leverage to pull the inner section out. Including that here in case it helps someone else! Great product overall once assembled. Very happy with it.
