Overall, the arms (I got the dual) were ok, not too much assembly, and the desk clamp worked great. They are rated for up to 27in, I have 2 -27 in monitors and while it held the weight (19lbs per arm is about the limit though, so dbl check your manufacturer website), that's about the limit for what these can handle in physical size and there is not much in adjustability. If you are doing a standard side by side you will be fine, but if you have 27 inchers and one or both monitors rotated 90 degrees, you will want to get arms that hold bigger size monitors. Only real complaint is I can't quite get the height I want ( the horizontal monitor sits just 6 inches off my desk, I like it a bit higher, but that's personal preference). If you have smaller size monitors, or just doing side by side, These are a great deal and you'll love the extra desk space! ... show more

When I saw the extent of what this product did I was thoroughly convinced it was the product to prevent me from buying two additional monitors to share on my standard everyday working desk and my recording studio with two 27" monitors. The assembly was super easy, not complicated and took less than thirty minutes to setup. The product came equipped with the proper screws and support plates that fit perfectly on my 27" monitors. I have one desk in which is about 47" in length x 23-3/4" wide where I simply measured the center point of the desk to mount the dual monitor stand. My Actual Scenario: • In the mornings when I'm working remotely its perfect to position height-wise and positioning both 27" monitors side by side. • In the evenings I jump into recording studio mode where I can now simply turn both monitors away from my office work desk facing my studio keyboard, turning off my work computer and turning on my studio recording computer. My recording computer displays my Logic sequencer and I'm ready to work on music. Sooooo super convenient and not to mention, I'm saving extra energy by not having to buy two additional monitors just for the purpose of recording or vice versa when doing office work. ... show more

Generally speaking, a monitor stand and mount only needs to do a few things, of which include: supporting the monitor and keeping it stable and firmly mounted. In this regard, it does exactly that. It will serve you well unless you plan on moving your monitor constantly. In that case, look elsewhere. The kit includes brackets for 75x75mm or 100x100mm sized backings, so most monitors save for specialty monitors will. The desk mount is held in by a vice screw, so assuming your desk is in a modern style and not flush with panels or legs on all sides, it's relatively universal. As most people have stated, the biggest issue are the screws that dictate the "tension" or the strength with which the arms support the weight of the monitor. They are not heavy duty and the construction is questionable, meaning that with repeated movement the screw and supporting swivel closest to the monitor (not the base) have the potential too loosen and eventually fail altogether. If you're on a budget and aren't looking to constantly adjust your monitor, it'll work just fine. ... show more
