Hard to find navy blue and this color is almost perfect. A little on the brighter side for navy but that’s ok. I’m about 6’ tall and can fully stretch out on this hammock. Much taller and you’d have to bend your knees a bit. I’m really impressed with the stand with the only flaw being a slightly misshapen surface on the square part of the base. Seems to have been in manufacturing and barely visible when installed. Kind of dented but not from shipping as the paint is perfect. Not gonna bother with a return as it’s not a functional issue. The pad is thin and lightweight but very comfortable. I’m hoping that means it will also dry quickly. Also hopeful that it doesn’t fade too much. Tried looking for sunbrella hammocks but not easy to find or at a reasonable price or nice color or pattern. It used to be easy to find hammocks in big box and warehouse club stores but not any more so I was very happy to find this one with good quality, good looks, quick delivery and at a reasonable price. Love the curved frame that snaps together in minutes. And the curved bamboo wood stretcher bars look nice with the silver connector in the middle. The frame is super heavy duty as are the connector rings and chains. The poly rope is pretty soft. Hopefully it stays intact and fairly clean. But since this is so easy to remove and roll up and it comes with nice storage bags for the hammock and pillow, we will likely roll it up and store it if there are any questions about weather. Love the portability for travel too. One minor item, sneaker soles can leave scuff marks on the navy fabric so be careful about this. Don’t drag soles across the fabric.

My new happy place. It is sturdy, comfortable and love the adjustable chain option. Assembly is pretty straightforward and easy, only issue is that the whole kit doesn't properly fit in the duffel bag included because the hammock is bulky once folded up. I just can't zip it all the way up, which isn't a huge issue when I store it in the shed to protect from the rain. It is pretty heavy but manageable and makes it feel sturdy. It is stable enough but getting balanced on it requires the person to make sure they sit as close to the center as possible before laying down. Not safe for elderly or small uncoordinated children, unless you hang it lower on the chain which makes it too close to the ground. I use the 4th chain link for me. The side bars that it is hooked into have some give and they move forward and back a little, but get tightened in place once you attach the hammock or put your weight in the hammock creating the tension needed to stabilize it. I have slid off of it once, the fabric is a bit slippery. I love the pillow attachment, would love a pocket on it.

** Changed to 4 Stars. They were not able to send missing parts, but they did give me the item number to order from amazon. It cost $5 for the part. Hugger then refunded me $60 of the $120 for my inconvenience. Changed stars due to good customer service. ** I’m only giving this review 3 for now because it was missing parts and the hammock came stained. That said at least this company shipped me the correct hammock. I have ordered three hammocks on Amazon two orders, I received the wrong item. I’m tired of lugging these things back to UPS so, I’m not returning this one. 1) right product. 2) Very easy to put together. Spent twice as much time taking it out of the box as I did actually assembling it. Not even 5 minutes. 3) comfortable. If I can ever get through to Amazon and the manufacturer to send me the missing end-cap and possibly replace the hammock with one not stained, I will bump this up to a five star. I am posting photos. That said, I am hoping it’s easy to get through to customer service, as usually it is not. Will see.

This hammock is everything promised. It assembles very easily, looks class, and is extremely comfortable and stable when properly loaded. A hammock is not a bed- I think some who took issue with its stability may have an unrealistic expectation. It's like a canoe vs. a fishing boat. Use it as intended and you'll be happy!

Overall the hammock itself is very nice, we’ll made, and comfortable. Where the complete setup is the weakest is the included stand. Designed to be “portable,” the stand consists of 5 parts that easily connect together. Keep in mind, if it’s easy to put together… it’s easy to come apart. When setting up, the hammock was placed on the first link (the last link furtherest from the actual hammock) of the included chain. All appeared well, until you actual got in the hammock. The two extension poles that connect to hammock flex inward so much you find yourself sitting on the ground. A quick adjustment to the link closest to the hammock only brought the hammock up about 8 inches off the ground. To complicate matters, if one was to get in to the hammock as the included instructions indicate, the stand is so unstable, it tilts over completely and you find yourself not only on the ground, but everything on top of you. This is because the cross braces on the bottom do not extend far enough out to provide the lateral stability required. Now before anyone thinks I’m a heavy person, let me say I’m only 130lbs. I don’t have enough mass to turn over much. But the motion alone is sufficient. Again, the hammock itself is nice; the stand, not so much. The cost; it seems expensive for a hammock. I bought this so it could be moved around the yard, but it’s pricy for what it truly is, just a hammock. Would I buy another one? Probably not.
