These were as described and worked great for what I needed. I made snow globe ornaments for my preschool kids. They turned out great! These are two ball halves that snap together. They seems to stay together really well, but if you are filling them with something and you don't want the ball to accidentally come apart then you may need to consider gluing the two halves together.

I use these for fursuit eyes, ornaments, cat treat toys, they work just fine. Easy to paint and tint. I recommend 3dprinting if you're trying to carve out holes or cuts tho, the plastic shatters easily if you're using a knife and not heating the plastic. It melts/warps very easily to a heat gun and easier to a soldering iron though, and sands alright.

The ornaments arrived in a sturdy box, and they were individually wrapped so they were not scratched. Nothing broken! Was a bit of a challenge putting them together, but once they were, they were perfect for my needs! Will order from this seller again.

I got the 100mm size to make chocolate balls. It is a little dessert thing where you make these spherical chocolate shells and put them over ice cream, then melt them away with hot sauce revealing the inside. My daughter saw it on the internet and HAD to have me try and make it. The 100mm size is the same size of a standard softball. I used Callebaut semi-sweet callets (52%). A couple of stinkers didn’t want to come out of the bottom half, so I popped them in the freezer for like 15 minutes and that worked (although one got a crack which I melted together with a lighter! ha ha!) I did buy an infrared thermometer "gun" for this …so cool!! Not sure I could temper correctly without it, though you may be better at it than I am!! I put my filled balls in a muffin tin in the fridge, so the didn't roll around in my fridge. I put a sheet of press-n-seal on it first and it really helped keeping them where I wanted them. Super cool dessert. Impressive presentation for what is I guess a sundae! Leave it to me to make hours of work for myself over a sundae! I ordered two boxes of these, having seen some of the concerns people had, I only actually needed 16 so I figured if any were broken it'd be fine since I had so many extra in the second package. The first package I opened had one half a sphere with a small crack so I was very happy. I even just used the one with a small crack because it wasn't big enough to cause a problem for what I was using it for. The second box I opened the next day, every single one was broken. Well, more specifically, half of each individual set was broken. This meant that I couldn't mix and match broken halves with unbroken ones, and the entire second box was useless. I had to go through and pick the ones that were the least broken to use them since I needed them the next day for an event and the still worked okay (which is the reason I didn't give this 1 star). They could probably easily fix this if they made studier packaging to deal with the Amazon warehousing, but that would increase their cost and the product would be more expensive, hence, hit or miss. Long story short, the ones that weren't broken worked perfectly, still relatively happy with the purchase because I bought more than I needed, but had I needed all 24 I would have been pretty unhappy.
