JACKSON ULTIMA ARTISTE MICROFIBER FLEX NOTCH FIGURE ICE SKATES The Jackson Artiste Figure Skates are a step up from the Mystique; offering a higher- quality Mark IV blade, a durable microfiber liner and anatomically shaped internal ankle padding. Jackson coated the full leather boot with polyurethane for better durability and longevity. The vinyl and mesh comfort tongue features foam reinforcement that runs top to bottom, providing a soft and comfortable feel throughout. To enable the learning skater to perform more advanced moves, Jackson softened the topline and included a flex notch just below the lace hoops. JACKSON WRAP Designed for exceptional fit, the Jackson Wrap System secures your foot, stops internal movements and slipping, and provides better stability. An internal layer of leather provides enhanced strength, support, and comfort. I love this boot! The skates are very comfortable and very stable. The only reason I’m giving 5 stars, is bc on only one boot, the silver heel had scuff marks on them as if already worn and used. Some minor dirt on the skates in general, not sure why as these were supposed to be brand new not used, and in some places the glue is a bit visible. Overall though, sturdy for the price so I’ll get over the minor little things I can fix up myself, just wasn’t expecting this on brand new skates. I also thought the holes designed on the skates had rhinestones in them, which to my disappointment there weren’t any, but I think I simply expected too much from these skates haha, I can always add them on myself. I usually wear a size 8 in street shoes, but I sized down(Jackson skates usually run a bit big so they recommend you measure for precise measurements) to a size 7 and they fit fantastic! No heel lifting or any kind of imperfections, very well balanced. The blade comes factory sharpened, but I do recommend getting them sharpened anyways since the blades didn’t grip the ice very well while factory sharpened(I wanted to test how well they would glide on factory). Next time someone orders these skates, I hope they’re in better condition & brand new and not a bit used as they promised! :) Edit: so I was able to clean the glue off the skates and fix the heel with silver paint, they looked brand new! I added some gems to these skates using E6000 as I planned above, and you can’t really notice it in the photos above because they’re not moving, but they’re VERY sparkly, especially out on the rink under proper lighting, probably my best set of skates yet, looks and feel. The design was perfect for this idea! They looked like they professionally come customized this way. After spending some time breaking them in post heat molding and sharpening, getting them acquainted with the ice, they feel WONDERFUL. Very comfortable. They glide like butter and spins/jumps feel so easy to do. Lots of control. Definitely an advanced boot! ... show more

Great skates, came sharp and ready to go. I got compliments on them at the rink as the dark blue color is really unique and cute. I’m a beginner so I’m not doing any big skills yet but I feel like these have great ankle support for me as I progress in my abilities.

I bought these a month ago so that I could take up skating again after not being on the ice for over 23 years. I'm a 56 year old female in above average physical shape but I have issues- namely a bad ankle injury (double fracture+tissue damage) sustained 3 years ago and Raynaud's syndrome from an autoimmune disorder. Raynaud's causes loss of circulation in fingers/toes that makes it harder to tolerate the cold. I've been skating in these about twice a week with medium weight wool socks and my toes have managed to stay warm for just under 90 minutes of almost continuous skating. The support for my bad ankle has been great! I've only had one fall and that was after getting clipped by a child. I haven't molded these yet but have had no blisters or discomfort. I normally wear a size 8-1/2 or 9 medium and used the provided size chart. The 8 women's fit perfectly. Time will tell how these hold up but I would definitely recommend them for beginners or older adults getting back on the ice. The black color is great too! They almost look like suede and I look forward to getting some buffalo plaid laces. ... show more

Doesn't match the sizing chart. I have coached a 37 years trying to recommend something to a student I received this for the missing emblem on one of the heels or scratch on one of the heels I don't know what to make of these but the fact that they're not sized properly according to the chart is really not good. ... show more
