If you’re a Mario party fan like I am, you will love this legit. I will play Mario party with my siblings all across the US and we’ll play online or my son and his boyfriend will play. This one is particularly cool because halfway through your game you’ll get random Jamboree buddies. So if you roll a six, they will knock your dice and make it a 10 every game you land on a spot to get coins they’ll give you double coins. If you get to the store and you have enough coins, you can get two stars same with item shops. I will say this if you’re playing with a computer CP use Luigi. In order to get your buddy you have to pass them and complete their little round of games. That means just because you pass them you won’t get them. You have to compete with everybody else so it makes it fair Luigi is very intricate, but he’s a totally worthless He doesn’t seem to help you out anymore and he tries to hit the little box to get you more, but he’s too weak to do it so as a jubilee buddy, he is worthless But warero is definitely one you want to have he’s a total BS and will help you out tremendously. There is also so many different boards. They even have a race board where you drive a little car around if you use this board get the turbo dice. They are totally worth it and very cool to use. There are some things they changed that I don’t particularly like even though peach is not my favorite character I loved her little heart simple she always did. She doesn’t do that anymore, and at the end of the game when you find out, who the superstar is you know how they usually knock the other characters away they don’t do that either but they did add a cool thing where you have a chart and it’s a graft and it’ll show you what you did how you did and then you could see how many spaces you landed on if it was an event space or an item space or a Bowser space it gives a whole little neat graft so that’s something different I haven’t played all the boards yet, but I’m excited to do so totally not regret getting this because I bought this game for me and one for my son so we can play when he doesn’t come over if you love Mario party you’re gonna love this just get it have them take your money. It’s worth it. Also, they added something new called the plunder chest. If you get this, you can steal an item from another player so if they have the golden pipe, they’re in trouble lol ... show more

We've had a lot of fun playing this game as a family (ages 5-45). I appreciate that there is a good variety of mini-games and they are simple enough that we can all play, even the 5 year old (with minimal help/explanation), but still fun. The tutorials before each mini-game are simple and easy to follow. We've only had this since Christmas, so we've not been able to explore a lot of the other things you can do, but so far the whole experience has been very user-friendly and low stress. My friends and I are obsessed with this game. We play it at least 4 times a week. The allies in this version are different than the ones in the previous version. We are flipping between this version and the older one. This has new worlds and fun mini games.

Our family loves this game! The original Mario party was always a hit in our home and when we saw this came out we had to try it! There are all new boards, characters, mini games and perks. Each board is also rated easy-hard so we can choose what’s best for who’s playing. The one big difference on this game from the first that’s made the game even more challenging is the ally space. In the original if you landed on the space you automatically get an ally. In this version you have to battle all the other players for a chance for the ally no matter who landed on the space. It was a twist we weren’t expecting but makes it even more fun! Definitely would recommend for a family game night! ... show more
