Once assembled, I was well pleased with this two-drawer steel vertical filing cabinet. However, I was not expecting that the assembly would be so detailed and timely. The installation instructions only include pictures, no wording, except for how to properly install the drawers once assembled. Some sections of the installation instructions are not quite clear and required having to looking at the pictures a few times, then looking at the metal steel a few times before understanding more clearly. What was most helpful was laying out all the lettered parts face up before beginning the assembling. The quality of this letter/legal steel filing cabinet is excellent. The inside file drawer space is a large size of about 15 inches long and comes with an extra key lock. One key lock both drawers at the same time. We had it together in next to no time. Slid the drawers in ... and they wouldn't reopen. We finally gave up and figured we'd have to toss it anyway so we pried one open with a screwdriver. Spent I don't know how long trying to figure out the issue. Finally husband realized one of the factory installed piece wasn't correct. It would not let the drawer open. We removed that piece and all was well. ... show more

The filing cabinet, while not hard to put together, took two people to put the drawers in. Once it was all together, though, it’s pretty sturdy not heavyweight, but not light either, and should last a good while. The drawers are spacious and you can store a lot.

This is a good 2 drawer metal file cabinet. It's pretty sturdy. It comes in a ton of small parts so may take a while and effort to assemble. It's light for a file cabinet. If I have any complaint, it's I wish the drawers were a bit wider to fit slightly bigger files. It's still a good little file cabinet though. ... show more

Good quality cabinet for a DIY build. The cabinet comes in a flat box and needs assembly. While unpacking the box, one of the drawer's edge was bent in two places due to packaging. However, it did not affect the performance of the drawer. Had a brain fart while assembling the drawer and slapped it together upside down. At that point, I was saying a few choice words as the sheet of metal had to be bent to form the drawer. Yep. Just knew that bending those folds again would weaken the metal and render the drawer useless. I had my JB Weld on standby for emergency use. Needless to say, I bent the metal and formed the drawer properly and surprisingly it is still intact. It took me about 15 to 20 minutes to assemble. Once fully assembled, the appearance is top notch. It looks exactly like I bought it fully assembled. I also like the fact it doesn't tip over when the top drawer is empty and open. I had one cabinet that did that had had to screw it to the wall. It should last quite a while, even though I made a huge mistake assembling a drawer. ... show more
