+ Well packaged and protected from crushing/warping + Propeller pre-installed, many spares included. The propeller breaks away on crash to protect the main motor + Landing gear are easy to slot in - The battery connector was deep inside the battery bay, I had to pry it out with a key before I was able to connect the battery + Throttle, elevator, rudder and aileron greatly improves control compared to RC planes that lack the aileron. Due to the linkage design, the ailerons control the surfaces where the flaps would be on the real thing, but it works. This remote control airplane is good for beginners as it is made out of Styrofoam. My son enjoys playing with it and it honestly is a good value to see if there is an interest in remote control airplanes before investing a large sum of money into this hobby as it can become quite expensive. It is a cool WWII British spitfire. I'm new to planes and it looks like I'll have no problem with this. It is styrofoam so be careful and get some appropriate glue. It has 2 batteries and the charger. You'll need as mentioned 4 AA batteries for the remote control. The weather currently prevents me from testing this at the moment but I cannot wait to use this. I had to give 3 stars on durability but most of these planes are like that due to weight. I just can't say styrofoam is durable. Although if you never crash then it will probably last forever.
