I have used SupCase Unicorn Beetle cases since having a Galaxy Tab S3 screen crack when used with a standard cover. While the corners do tend to get brittle over a few years, causing the front cover to crack, the cases provide amazing protection against drops and scratches to the screen. This case is no different. It's a little larger than the previous Encased Rebel I was using, and the clip seems a bit less engineered/sturdy, I was having a very difficult time finding a good screen protector for the Ultra that didn't require UV glue. I've read occasional horror stories about phone damage during installation as well as issues with removal when the screen protectors crack. Unfortunately every tempered glass protector had dismal reviews and the TPU films continually seem to peel up and bubble on this phone. SupCase didn't have the built in protector for the S8 Ultra when I first purchased, so I went with the Rebel plus TPU with the problem of having continual peeling and bubbles on the screen as I smoothed the protector back in place. The built in protector should fix these issues, and after my son having used the SupCase for his S8+ for the past 8 months with good success I decided to switch over. I've only had it on for a few hours, but so far so good. The screen protectors on the SupCase will scratch if in contact with a rough surface, but they protect the device's screen admirably. I've not had many drops, but the few times I did the fragile screen on the Tab S3 received no damage when in the Unicorn Beetle. Best is that the complaints about the fingerprint reader are overstated. The reader works flawlessly and the tiny adhesive circle is almost impossible to see except under very specific circumstances. The case could have a bit of an upgrade for the holster, but otherwise I'd rate this as a complete success like all of the other SupCase products I have purchased. If you fix anything, a holster that doesn't feel like it will fail in a few weeks might be an improvement. ... show more

    • Second time ordering this over a 2 year period - Love this case

This is my second time ordering this case, reason being mainly because the kickstand broke after 2 years of constant use and also because of dropping it so many times, there were scratches on the protective screen. I was using it one night in bed and the little tiny dots that hold the kickstand in place broke off somehow, I may of pushed too hard on it or something on the bed pushed too hard on it, not sure what happened. But because I used it on the daily, it felt off no longer having it. So I ordered a completely new case. I am the clumsiest person you'll ever met and this case has saved my phone from so many drops, unlike my previous basic cases I've had where if you drop it so much as even on the side, it'll break the screen. Not this one! I've dropped it so many times face down on accident over the last 2 years and it has held up to this day, sure with a bunch of scratches but the phone is still great! For me, I 100% justify the price of this phone case because it gets the job done. I will never go back to any other case now. I just wish it came in more color for my Samsung Ultra S22, though, for the same price. (Bought black case). Would love a red or an orange one. ... show more

For the most part it is a pretty good case. The cut out for the camera on the screen protector gets dirt under it very easily and the case is very difficult to remove. But other than that, it's done a great job of protecting my phone.

maker has 2 models. older one has a built in screen, that fits case like a glove, no bubbles, no sticking. easy to affix. for me a belt clip is a must, and this one has a good one. as plastics are, belt clip could break. happy to buy again a year later. happy with case, this is a keeper for me.

After having some fit up issues with my side buttons, I noticed that when reading the description pay close attention to the model. I noticed that the S23 ultra side button cut outs are slightly different from the S22 ultra. The description stated that it fit the S22 ultra/S23 ultra. After reordering the case arrived and it fits perfect and lives up to what I have loved about these cases throughout several years of using the SUPCASE brand.
