Done with other cases, otterboxes and lifeproofs are too expensive and cheaper “protective” cases never have enough preventative measures for my clumsy a**. I had my first Supcase back with my iPhone 5 (#old) and it never let me down. Now, with the improvements naturally coming over the years I can still say that these cases are still the best value for your money. I love that with this version of the case I can still use the phone magnet and stick a pop socket on without worrying about a funky texture or the adhesive coming off of silicone. My phone feels SAFE, unlike the other cases I’ve tried, and I feel confident that when I accidentally send it flying I’ll get it back in one piece. The bevels aren’t any more awkward than other cases and are clearly of a better material. Anybody saying this case is bulky or awkward to hold I would argue has small hands or unreasonable standards for phone protection. I mean, do you want it safe or do you want it sleek? This case is the best of both worlds, in my opinion. I know the lower star reviews have some other issues, let me address them 1. Yes, the built in screen protector is useless. My previous Supcase had it too and eventually I ended up popping it off (which IS possible, you just have to be committed and careful) when it got too scratched and dusty. I left it on for now as it isn’t impairing the function of the screen at all. 2. Definitely ignore anyone - instructions included - saying to leave off a tempered protector. It fits perfectly fine underneath and it’s important to have since the plastic cover isn’t really doing anything. The front part of the case overlaps where the screen protector doesn’t get right to the edge of the phone which is perfect since that’s always where I end up cracking the screen and it’s the primary reason I got this type of case. 3. The two-part design is why people are complaining it doesn’t fit. The pictures show it sitting loosely in the back before it’s snapped into the front piece. BOTH have to be together and then it fits great, no rattling around and nice and tight. It can be a little tricky to get it together if you’ve never done a case like this before but the design works to protect your phone, so don’t let people who didn’t read the instructions deter you. 4. The button covers do have a very slight looseness and the charge port and vibrate toggle are quite recessed but I’ll argue that neither outweighs the massive benefits of the case. The buttons aren’t loud, the charge port is still easily reached (I’m constantly plugging and unplugging my phone/earbuds), and if you need to get to the toggle it is possible you just have to be deliberate about it. I actually LIKE that I can’t accidentally hit it anymore and wonder why I’m not getting a sound notification even at full volume. Don’t hesitate on this case because of some picky reviews, it is 100% worth the money! ... show more

I have used this brand for a few years not all the way back to when I had iPhone 6. I love the fact that it has a screen protector. I do have to dismally every 8 months or so to clean inside due to the work that I do. but my wife's remains clean all the time. she did drop hers and it protected the phone (no visible damage at all). ... show more

Supcase makes a generally good product. I’ve had several cases of theirs before, and they make some nice, quality cases. That being said, a few things about this particular case I didn’t like are the buttons - they have a little play in them. They don’t sit right against the actual button of the phone inside so there’s a little bit of click or rattle when you press one. The only other complaint I have is that the port for the silent mode switch is too small and too deep. I don’t have long nails or small fingertips so it’s hard to reach. As someone that utilizes this feature a lot, I’m not a fan of that. Other than those two complaints, my experience so far is mainly positive. Nice looking case but having issues with the side controls being to easy to push. A light touch to the side of the phone will turn it off when my husband picks up his phone. My SUP case UB Pro is bulkier but doesn’t have that issue.
