This case is amazing. The ease of installation was a nice touch. It gives your Switch a tough and but very protective feel. It does add a bit of bulk to your Switch but makes up for the protection. All the cut outs line up with your Switch. Since fits in my portable case with a tight fit though. You can still remove the controls with no problems.

Best case after trying several. Sturdy. It still fits in the dock. Choose another if you need the kick stand, but generally if we're undocking it we're not using the stand. Looks great and adds grip. A win all around.

This is actually a great quality case. Its sturdy, the grips on the back make it way more ergonomic than just playing the switch bare, AND ITS DOCKABLE. I dont even have to press down for it to dock. Others have had issues with it being defective or the mold not being formed correctly and scratching their switch, but mine was fine. My switch has no scratches from the case. So I say just look out for that. There are only two flaws (kind of). It's so sturdy that you'll feel like you're putting to much pressure on the joycons when flipping the handles back to access them. But I've seen videos of people actually trying to break the joycons, and even then they won't break, so it'll be fine with this case. Second is there's no access to the kick stand, but its obvious from the pictures, so that wasn't a surprise to me. One more thing, it'll also fit in a carrying case, depending on how much space it has inside. Pros: -Thick and sturdy -Easily Dockable -Access to joycons (even when docked) -Ergonomic -Fits in some carrying cases Cons: -No kickstand access -Extra pressure on Joycons when flipping case back -Possibly getting a defective case that will scratch your switch

Early review: so I was looking around and there were plenty of options but so many had flaws left and right and or bad reviews or were way expensive. Decided to try this one out given reviews and price point and it’s almost perfect. So first impressions is solid build quality, grips are not the biggest which I like as they aren’t exaggerated, the look is solid, the feel is nice and it’s dockable . As for cons you can’t use kickstand, and the grips don’t remove with joycons. But again for the price and what I was looking which was a nice feeling inexpensive case with grips this was it. Again price point sold me and being dockable. I did see someone say they were scared about thermals however considering how thin it is like many other dockable cases I’m sure it’s more than fine.

pretty good. plastic but sturdy. the grips are hard rubber. it does makes it easier to and more comfortable to handle. speakers and all inputs/outputs are correctly open. the headphone is a bit tight so be careful. the back covers and isolates the back of the console. it does protects it well, but it also thermally isolates it. so it lowers the ability of the console to cool itself (but not by a ton i hope) the stand is fully covered and inaccesible. so that's a huge con. you can't use the stand. and removing the case is quite annoying, i fear it might damage either the console or the cover. i'd say military grade is an exaggeration (i wish they had to certify these claims). it doesn't fit in my carry anymore either, which is to be expected. but means you have to put it and take it out pretty often.

This is a very good strong case. I’ve been comparing and mauling over what to get. The kick stand with this case on is unavailable. I’m not too worried about that. Kick stand seems delicate anyways. I made my decision based on other people’s experiences and I made a good choice. Console fits right in the base holder too. I am happy with this product.

I got the same case for my OLED original Switch, and I’d buy this one every time. It fits perfectly, is comfortable in your hands, and the snap-away holders make it easy to get the controllers off. This case also makes holding the Switch 2 more pleasant
