I have used a variety of cases over the years for my cell phones - and have gladly paid good money for those that not only protect my phone, but my overall investment so I can trade a phone in later for something new. Normally those cases can run around $50, more or less - money I'm willing to spend, even if the amount seems high. Having done some reviews on rugged cases for the iPhone 15, and having purchased a SUPCASE brand case a while back, I decided to pull the trigger on this one. Worst case scenario, I send it back. There's no need. It holds the phone perfectly, keeping it snug - although a small part of me will always worry about the open exposure of the camera configuration on the back. A built-in screen protector is a plus, and doesn't impede using the touch screen. I'm not a fan of applying screen protectors; I know it's important to have them, and they've saved my bacon a couple of times. The application tends to suck. With a built-in one, points scored. The iPhone Pro Max is already a heavier phone, yet the case doesn't seem to add to the weight. It does obviously extend the dimensions of it, so make sure you've got big pockets. The back of the case contains a "kickstand," which I've used a couple of times and works pretty well. The case itself allows for a wireless charger to be used, which I primarily work with, and there's been zero incident as far as the phone NOT charging. I had a Beetle Supcase on iphones for the past 5 years and they worked really well. I'm pretty careful with my phone but have dropped it from short distances a couple of times. The old case, and I suspect this case since it's really the same, protected my phone without adding too much bulk. I've seen many with very thin cases and pretty thick ones too. I researched the case and the belt clip holder and this one seems to be a good compromise between thick overly protective cases and very thin ones that don't seem to offer much protection at all. Even though the clear front is not glass, its plastic, I didn't have any problems in the past, and even if I do, this case is not terribly expensive so I can replace it. I really like that the magsafe rings pops out and is also a stand so I can easily see my phone on its side when its on my desk. The case has angled deformations on the side to give you a good grip as opposed to some that are smoother and slippery. ... show more

Pros The plastic screen protector is actually pretty smooth and installs good and is very transparent. Already survived a pretty big drop No covering over the camera lenses but the case is thick enough to protect them. Meaning nothing to mess up your pictures Cons Despite being magsafe compatible I wouldn’t get this case if that’s your thing. There’s a notable drop in charging efficiency and increase in heat generated. I think it’s because of the fairly thick plastic under the ring/kickstand The kickstand imo opens backwards. The past 3 cellphone coved I have personally bought were from SUPCASE. I had an iPhone 7 with the Unicorn Beetle, and it withstood me being harsh on my phones and hasn't failed me one bit. They are durable, without being bulky. They are stylish, have sharp edges which make the quality stand out. My oldest son also has been a fan of SUPCASE. His last 2 cases being from them. I'm not sure home many other people I've talked to about this company, but it has to be in the hundreds, and I'm sure they bought a UB case too. The packaging was top notch. It came in a hard cardboard box, like the iPhones. Everything was nicely packed to insure the case would not be damaged.
