Bought these as they had good reviews and were reasonably priced. I received and were easy to put together and install. All lights work fine and materials are good. Now, are these solid metal high quality materials likebtopnof the line...no but if you want a good priced and good quality option that works this is a great. It is far cheaper than the high end brands/materials but my thought is if one burns out I can swap cheaply and quickly. I have had this same set prior and they are still working 3 years later...only 1 light burnt out but I think it had a wire issue when a landscaper hit it but I had a spare and quickly swapped. Definitely recommend! ... show more

As noted in some other reviews, the lights pool a lot of water if oriented near vertical. To reduce water pooling, I removed the brims and filed a notch into them to allow better drainage. Be careful to avoid cutting too deep. The brim must remain intact 360 degrees where it mates with gasket. While lights were apart, also enhanced water seal by silicone greasing the gasket (remove from glass and coat both interior and exterior of gasket). Takes some time to wipe excess silicone grease off glass cover, but doable with micro-fiber cloth. Next mod was to change one of the two included remotes to be ultra-short range. The modified remote has reduced RF output and will only work from an inch in front of light. That lets me individually set color of lights with the modified remote. RF remote is held together by three small screws revealed by pealing back the button membrane. Both C6 and L1 components must be removed to adequately attenuate the RF signal. Simply cutting the antenna trace didn't work. Now I have convenience of a long range remote for setting multiple lights and an utra-short range remote to adjust individual lights. ... show more

The light housings themselves are nice die cast parts and are better quality than I expected. The included wire connectors are innovative and easy to use. I put 9 of these in my front yard and used the other 9 in the back yard. I like the ability to "re-theme" the colors and brightness anytime with the included remote. Make my neighbors basic wired white or solar lights look positively archaic by comparison. I went with the Sunvie 300W transformer, its runs all 18 lights easily, is quiet, and works well. I wish someone made the transformer that was app-enabled, though. ... show more

    • (6 Month Update) DO NOT BUY
I’m updating my review. I liked these at install except the connectors are kinda cheap. I bought other connectors that were better quality. These are easy to control and look nice, but they don’t hold up to weather or sprinklers. I bought a pack of 16. Two stopped working when they were lightly sprayed by sprinklers. I adjusted where the lights were located so they weren’t so affected by water. This was great through summer and fall but they all stopped working the night of our first snow. My cheap big-box store lights still work fine but these don’t hold up to any type of weather or sprinklers. I can’t recommend. Save your money. ... show more
