This hose fits. No joking. it's fine
It's really a well-made hose. Not in an easy installation. I had my old fittings come apart easily, got really messy and took me an hour and 45min start to finish. I'm not a noob but not a mechanic either. The compression fittings are always a bit fiddly for me, brake line, this hose, whatever. Secret lies in aligning the hose pipe in both axis while finger-turning the CLEAN threads in. Then use the wrench once it grabs too tight for the fingers to advance. I imagine some problems occur as the end picks up debris on the way to the bottom. I see no reason to pay more for this part. When I removed the airbox and hose, the bellows on the intake hose were secretly cracked. I had to order a replacement. Maybe check your intake hose by squeezing and rotating it looking for cracks all the way round. Order both at once for a fast repair.

Worked great for 2010 Honday Odyssey. Fit and finish was right on par.
Worked like a champ. Compared with the old one when pulled and it was a perfect match. I did do the trick I think somebody wrote here in another review about cutting the old line at the steering rack. I had a line wrench, but there's not much room in there. Pipe cutter couldn't fit either so I used a small hacksaw. It was much easier with a socket and ratchet once the line was cut.

Fits like the original.
This review is on the product it fit like the original and for way cheaper and it does the job. Now for the installation it's a pain! Took me about 30 min to take off the old part and about 2 and a half hours to install the new part get you a 14mm flare nut wrenches and a 17 mm to remove the oil sensor and also a 14mm stuby wrench because there is no room under there you have to do a 1/4 of a turn til its tightened. It's a frustrating process but over all its good product been couple of months and no leaks!!

Fit my 2009 Odyssey perfectly.
This fit my 2009 Odyssey perfectly. It took me about 3 hours to install in my garage with no lift. Some suggestions: Remove the air box/filter assembly first so you can access the hose connection from the top instead of the bottom. I attached a picture from the top looking down showing where the connection is located. It’s a bit of a stretch, but it can be reached. Also, remove the passenger side front wheel to access the clamp on the underside of the van. Those two things let me loosen the connection from the top of the engine compartment and remove the whole assembly through the passenger side wheel well. I also installed it through the wheel well. If you have a lift, this job will be a lot easier, but it can be done in a regular garage with some effort and common tools. Tools I used: Jack/jack stands Needle nose pliers - To remove hose clamps connecting air box. 10mm socket - Most clamp bolts and hose connection on top of the engine. Flat head / Phillips screwdriver - For clamps / air box. 14mm wrench - For hose connection to the power steering unit. 17mm wrench - For power steering switch on the hose.

Straightforward install
I used a crow foot 14mm to get the nut out of the rack and pinion. I thought going at it from above was easier than from below. The rest came out easily. The hardest part of the install was threading the new hose in the Rack and Pinion. It took a while of fiddling with it but finally got it lined up just right. Hose has no leaks (as of yet) and seems well made. Time will tell. Probably save $800+ DIY.

This Is A Difficult D.I.Y Repair
Like original but the steel line is "painted black", not that it really matters...This is a difficult D.I.Y repair, as this line is really tough to even get to without removing the air box & hose (from a top down approach)! I needed an "extra set of hands", so my wife had to crawl underneath our van and push in & up on the line, while I had to lay on top of the engine (make sure it's cooled down first) to get the fitting lined up with the steering box to screw it in (Only took me about 50 times to try and get the fitting started!). Not the sellers fault... Be wary of over tightening any of these fittings, as you could twist, strip the threads, or otherwise break the line! Upon completion and inspection, the new line does have a slow leak/ drip in it somewhere (?). Possibly where the sending unit mounts, or where it goes into the power steering box itself, so I'll check those areas and see if I can "snug it up." The seller was "all defensive" about me asking a question prior to my purchase, regarding someone else's enquiry about their line leaking after installing...?!? Therefore, they Lose a Star ⭐️ for the "argumentative response." It's steering fine now and I actually flushed/ repeated several times and refilled w/ Honda type PS fluid.

Perfect fit
Took some time to change as it's not in a convenient area to get to, but that really has nothing to do with this hose. The hose was the correct length and fit exactly as it should. Does not leak like my old one did. Would certainly recommend.

Quality after market
The angles and bends matched the OEM perfectly. Not a tough job if you have the right tools. Removed the air box and the hose to reach the fitting and used a line wrench to remove.Well worth the price.
