I screwed small hooks into my wooden patio and hooked them on with that top and bottom through the metal holes and it's worked out great. They are not see-through but do let in light. Now my patio is private. So happy that a 12 foot length was offered.

We doubled these up around our deck and you can still see through them. The product images make it seem like they are opaque but they are clearly not. If you plan to use these to create some privacy, they won't do the job. The material and construction is well done however.
