I will admit that they are a bit of a pain to put together, but they are great-looking, sturdy and give me the impression that they will last more than a couple years in the 100+ degree summers here. Pros: Solid pieces that secure together well. Aesthetically pleasing and much more attractive than fold-up chairs for your backyard, cabin or mobile home unit. Cons: Price is quite high for the 2-pack but is high quality. I am expecting that these will be around for quite some time, which will make the price-point pain a bit easier to bear. Assembly for me was difficult due to the weight of the individual pieces and having to hold pieces together while inserting the bolts and securing. These are worth the price if you are looking for some great looking chairs to go in a stationary location. I wouldn't want to be moving these from location to location frequently due to the size and weight. ... show more

In the midwest we need outdoor furniture that can last so we were investigating Adirondack chairs. We were looking for all weather, not real wood and can withstand the elements of rain, ice, snow and hot blistering humid days. We came across these chairs and we thought for this price they will be high end quality. Unfortunately they are not high end. First off the two pack is a pretty heavy and should require two people to lift the box. Once the main box is open the two chairs are in two separate boxes to fully assemble. The description says easy assembly and that is completely WRONG! The instructions remind me of a poorly printed Ikea instruction manual. The instructions aren't clear for the location of the bolts, washers, locking nuts and what end is up or down. One chair literally takes over an hour for assembly. You must use your own tools. The supplied wrench is bigger than the nuts used. They include one small Allen wrench that would increase another 30 plus minutes on top of the hour it already took with my own tools. I used my own crescent wrench, my own screw gun and that worked the best. Lastly the chairs were heavily scratched up due to the poor packaging. That was disappointing especially at this price point. Once fully assembled, the chairs are decent and I hope they will last. If you're looking for great Adirondack chairs I would avoid these and look elsewhere. ... show more

Attractive and comfortable chairs; Easy to clean. Takes about 1.5 hour to assemble (per chair), but not difficult and the package includes all required hardware (including wrenches). The material is much more weatherproof than regular wood.... Seems to be a wood/plastic mix that wont discolor or rot. I recommend. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. These were a huge pain to put together. It took me a very long time just to put one together. Unlike my other Adirondack chairs, these do not fold up, which means storing them is going to be annoying. The wood is sturdy, but very pitted. I don’t like the way that looks. There is also an issue with screws coming through the wood and creating hard to see sharp points that scratch you. These screws are not ones that I put in during assembly. For $200 a piece I expect them to look better and the wood be smooth to the touch. As I buy more for outdoor seating I’m definitely not getting more of these. All that being said it does have a couple good points. The directions were easy to follow. All necessary tools came in the box. It sits a little higher, which makes it easier to get in/out of.
