Easy to put together which is the reason for 2 stars. The support slats don't stay and fall out. Not sure how good this frame is going to hold up long term. Difficult to get started with no written instructions. Pieces were numbered only and hard to identify. Clear instructions would have cut the assembly time in half. Good product though for the price. Worked well for my daughter's hybrid mattress and underneath storage space.

I raise miniature dairy goats and when I saw this simple bed frame I got an idea for them to use it. People build platforms in their barns to either get them off the ground when lying down or sleeping or to increase the amount of sleeping space. The frame was very easy to assemble and this took about 30 minutes. This frame saved me a lot of work and the finished product (with a plywood sheet added on top) is much lighter than a frame made of 2X4's would have been, so I can reposition it easily. The picture shows the bed frame in my barn with the plywood top removed. Baby goats love hidey holes and they immediately started crawling under the platform, but unfortunately they are really hard to photograph under there. I wholeheartedly recommend this bed frame, however you intend to use it. ... show more
