abunda_amazon_reviews This bike has a manufacturing defect that the manufacturer is aware of but will not address, essentially the left crank arm comes loose after just a few minutes of use no matter how much you tighten it: "We were taking a look at our floor model and checked with management as well and this is actually normal just like the swing arms the left crank bolt can come loose under moderate to heavy use. We do recommend that you tighten after every 1-2 workouts to prevent it from coming loose and creating any additional repairs on both handlebars and this left crank. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to let us know. " I may attempt to fix it using loctite failing which this will be going back and be replaced with an Air Assault bike, in my view that one is now easily worth the $300 premium for a much better warranty and quality of manufacture. This is priced too high for a cheap defective knock off IMHO. Update: Raised it to 2 stars since customer support reached out and talked over the issues with me. It had an amazing seat and the resistance was awesome. However the bike had the loudest clanging noise when you road it. It was awful! We reported it to the company and they told us that it was normal. I am sorry, it was not normal. I workout in my garage and couldn’t hear my music over the loud noise. It sounded like if a kid dropped a hot wheels car in the fan of the bike and it just kept hitting every time you peddled. It was a complete bummer. But we were lucky enough to return it. If I had it to do over again, I'd spend the extra for a more high-end product. To the manufacturer's credit, they actually sent me a replacement bike at no cost to me when the first one I received started making a very loud and mysterious rattling noise when in use. I had an extensive back-and-forth with a very nice customer service rep who decided the best course of action was to replace my original purchase. So, the replacement Air Bike I have today has been in regular use for almost two years and works well. Occasionally, I have to re-tighten a bolt holding one of the pedal mounts to the sprocket. For some reason, the bolt slowly works its way loose and a noticeable wobble occurs while pedaling. It's an easy fix, but a bit of a nuisance. Sherman;;;Love this bike. After my triple-bypass I needed to exercise. I did comparisons to three other exercise bikes including the Schwinn. This bike outperforms and out-features them all. Besides it is less expensive than the Schwinn. Some of the features I liked - the big 24" fan, the seat adjustment (up-down, fwd-back), easy assembly, a place to put my iPad, it is STURDY (supports my 270 lb body), compatible with the wireless heart-rate chest belt I use (shows on the display) and gives me a super good workout. cons: the display is LCD with no backlight. I had to place the bike in a brightly lit area to see it. Also, the display turns itself off after 1 minute. That make it hard to go over and assess the results. There is no memory to allow workouts to be documented and reviewed later. These are things I would like to see on a monitor update. But the cons far outweigh the benefits of this product.
