A few years back I realized that most of the problem with my eyes is that they can't handle the sunlight, so I went looking for a decent, non-spendy pair of sunglasses so I could get outside without eye misery. These fit the bill perfectly. They're priced very decently for the quality, which is good so far. I've had this particular pair for several years now, and I wear them all sorts of places. This particular style fits my face well (some other shapes make me look ridiculous), and I love the sleek, classic lines. They're lightweight and don't irritate the bridge of my nose like my previous sunglasses did - my face is very sensitive to pressure as someone who suffers from chronic migraines. The durability has so far been excellent. I try to take care of my things, but sometimes these end up in my bag without protection, and so far they haven't scratched and the frames have remained in good condition. I ended up buying about 4 more pairs in different colors. The microfiber bag they came in is a nice bonus. ... show more

I like the sunglasses for what they are, they are $10-20 shades that reduce sunlight and have polarization, if you select a model that does have polarized lenses. These are not very expensive and still have a good build quality to them. I gave it a 4/5 for scratch resistance because at the moment i have yet to scratch the lenses but that's because i have not really abused them like i normally would do to a set of glass lens sunglasses and would expect them to get scratched when pocketing with keys against them. These are better than any pair of gas station sunglasses that i have looked at in the past few years and you actually get to choose style. They are lightweight and still maintain rigidity. They are oil magnets, i typically wear some sort of sunscreen when out in the sun and these like to hold onto any fingerprint or oil from them as possible when compared to my previous glass lenses sunglasses. It takes a lot of effort to make them wearable through wiping them off to clean the lenses compared to glass would be. I also don't 100% love how they fit on my face with them fitting rather small for a pair of Women/Men glasses to fit. I think it is because the bridge is too narrow and the lenses are not wide enough for my face. This results in a gap on either side of my eyes that are prone to dust flying into compared to glasses that i have had previously that fit tighter to my face. This is also the reason that i knocked the sun protection down to 4/5 because it leave a space for sun to hit my eyes while driving as well. Your mileage may vary. Summary: Pros: -Affordable -Good build quality -Fun color options -Lightweight and sturdy -Company is responsive by email Cons: -Smaller than expected, depends on person -Oil magnets, annoying to clean off oil smudges and get clear again -Plastic lenses, haven't scratched yet but imagine they would through use, I plan to report back later -Sun and dust can get in due to smaller size ... show more

I like these sunglasses even better than I thought I would! I got the amber/brown gradient lenses and they are perfect for the PNW weather. Dark enough to walk the dog in the sun but the brown lenses still work on overcast days without being too dark. The lenses are polarized and provide a crisp image. They are good quality and well made, and seem like they will last a long time (unless I drop them in the river floating). The package also included a little tool for tightening screws if needed and a soft case and cleaning cloth. They match with everything and can be worked into any style. Wasn’t paid for this review at all!! I love these sunglasses, to the point that I’ve gifted them to friends! The pair that I bought has lasted through a couple years of wear and tear from boat rides. The only reason I’m buying another pair is because I forgot the protective sleeve and some metal rubbed on the lens, but they were honestly still pretty useable. First of all I'd like to say I love these sunglasses. I have bought 7 pairs. I've had MauiJim, RayBan, Serengeti and decided to try the Sungait just because I wanted to have something less expensive that I didn't have to worry about losing. Comfortable, lightweight and good lenses I actually like these better than the expensive brands. Because they are so inexpensive, I can keep xtras in oar cars, in my backpack, at work, at home, one pair just for running; I never have to think remembering to bring them or where they are. I ordered these a few weeks ago and I definitely will continue to purchase from this company for any additional pairs I will need. I really like that these fit my face well and aren’t super loose like others have been. Polarized was definitely a must this time and these are very nice ones. I was able to receive a free pair from this company too and received them in a timely fashion and love them as well! Bought these because Wirecutter recommended them. I recommend them too. I think they are great for the price! Lightweight and easy to carry especially with the carrying cinch bag and cleaning cloth. The style is easy to wear and goes with everything. I'll probably get a darker more classic color next time, only because they would look even classier and fit my style. What's great is that at this price point I could experiment with a style on the edge of my comfort zone. ... show more
