I bought my first mug made by this company from a hospital gift shop before my daughter died. It had the polka dots around the bottom. It fell off the counter and broke after she died. πŸ’” another chink in the heart armor. There is something about drinking coffee or tea from a beautiful mug that makes me feel better about life. Love these cheerful, pretty mugs. I have bought several of them. Three of the one shown, another floral design, a sunflower one, a peacock one (the first one of found and it was not on Amazon) and the sunflower design. Now i have my eye on the pretty little blue bird design. Really just bought them for fun. I drink hot tea throughout the day, every day. Found the first one at a Tuesday Morning in town. They only had one and it is a different peacock design than the one shown on Amazon. Once I started using the mug, I enjoyed the pretty design and searched Amazon for more. Have not been disappointed. There are some cautions (which is why I gave this and the others I have bought 4 stars and not five. First, as one can see from the photos of them, they are a bit top heavy and have tipped on over and broke one. (Immediately bought a replacement). They make a nice travel mug, in theory,, however, two things one needs to be aware of before buying as a travel mug. They are heavy, they are ceramic, so I have only used it as a travel mug once or twice. They sit heavy in my cup holder in my car. If you have the sturdy solid cup holders in your car, that shouldn't be a problem, my cup holders are a slide out, not so sturdy double cup holder and the mugs are just too heavy to use securely in my car. Also, the lid is not terribly secure on the top of the cup. If you tip the cup more than just a little, your liquid will spill out. However, I bought this one and the others all from Amazon, on a whim, because they are pretty and cheerful Some go very well with my everyday dishes. The others go well with my home decor. For myself, they make drinking my herbal teas a little more fun. Each one has been prettier in real life than the photos on the site. This was a happy surprise. If you or a friend / family member enjoys having a large tea or coffee mug, these make lovely gifts for someone else or as a little indulgence for yourself. Because the box they come in are artwork in themselves designed to go with the mug, all you would need to do is add a bit of pretty tissue paper in the box and a pretty ribbon and gift wrapping would be done. I have read some reviews that say their mugs came broken. I am sad for those people, however I have a collection of 5, plus the one I broke. Each one came well packaged and not a crack or chip. They all showed up in perfect shape. Have really enjoyed these mugs. ... show more

Love the option to use the mug with or without the lid! The handle is high enough on the body to allow you to put the mug in most cup holders. The only thing that seems worth mentioning that some might consider a negative is that the colors on the mug, at least on mine, are more muted than the pictures on the listing. They are also much more muted than the print on the lovely box it comes in. I don't like a lot of flashy, vivid colors, so the muted tones work great for me, but some might be disappointed. ... show more
