It's nice being able to leave a 5 star review. Purpose: I purchased their 20W 12V panel to have fun extending the life of an old AGM battery in the 4Runner as long as possible. Weekends are different, but my commute to work is 8-10 minutes which isn't long enough to fully charge the battery regularly. I leave it sitting on the dash full-time and have it connected to wires running directly to the battery with an inline 10a fuse. Construction is solid. Not sure what the board is made of but its thick enough to be durable with slight flex without being too heavy. The wiring and connectors are of good quality as is the trickle charger attached to the backside. Operation: The battery indicator is easy to read and functions exactly as the instructions describe. I only set it to AGM once and it has stayed on that setting even when sitting overnight without sunlight for power. I have both a Foxwell and Ancell battery tester and this solar panel does a good job of maintaining the battery while I'm inside at work. Maybe unnecessary, but I unplug it before starting the vehicle and reconnect it only once I've parked and turned the truck off. I desulfate 6v and 12v batteries 3-4 times yearly using a NOCO product and keep fluid levels where expected. I recommend this product for anyone having vehicles sitting unused for long periods of time or with older batteries that might need a little more maintenance for longevity. The 01/2018 battery in the Runner is still 85%+ SOH. so I expect to get 2 more years out of it easily.

Much better panel for keeping my RV charged than the other brand 10 watt I had before that struggled keeping it charged. This one the coach battery monitor tells me it is at 12.7 volt all the time. When I go RVing I put it on the windshield so I know it will have enough juice to start up the Mercedes diesel engine when I'm ready to leave. Fantastic panel!

Just tested in full sunshine holding the panel perfectly perpendicular to the sun and was able to get 1.01A, pretty close to the 1.1 on the label at 13.38V charging a 12V LFP battery. Although that's only 13.5W, nowhere near 20W. It claims to go to 18V at 1.1A, but not sure what 12v battery can charge at 18v. It's a great maintainer. It's a pretty stiff panel so I'm not worried about it sagging when supported at the ends horizontally. Overall I'm very happy. It comes with nice stand offs for the suction cups. Here's a pic of the specs on the back of the panel as well as the test results and the panel with the suction cups attached. I was also able to get a respectable amount of power (0.72A) charging with the panel horizontal (about 45° from optimal). I'd give it 5 stars if you could charge any 12v battery, FLA, AGM or Li, at 18V to get the advertised 20W.

Keeps the battery charged up only driving every couple of weeks, I take the panel off dashboard when I drive so be aware on a 90 degree day make sure you where gloves to touch it because it gets over 150 degrees I've burn a blister on a finger before I could drop it and it didn't break.

Connected it to my boats lithium battery, just powers a small outboard, but keeps it topped up and makes sure you dont get the dreaded 0v on a lithium battery, which means you have to shock it to wake it up.

Got it installed in my 2010 Prius with a security system that slowly drains the battery. I can tell it was getting power, but it’s not enough to keep the battery charged. Maybe I need a higher wattage panel? Otherwise it seems well made and functional.
