The take down and put up of this is so simple it's amazing. Took this with me while traveling just to have it for star gazing during a meteor shower too! Pay attention to the weight limit, had one too many people on it and it gave way right away. I was able to bend the hook back and it's stayed sturdy ever since. Hard to beat this hammock and stand combo for the price. It's comfy and has no problem with two of us (around 300lb combined). I leave the stand outside in the elements and it's been fine. The hammock itself I store inside. It's easy to put up and take down
