Very easy to install especially as new construction. If you are chaining multiple lights in a row the provided wire nuts are too small.

With big box store lights like being upwards of $25 each, I took the plunge and bought these for an area in my basement. They come well packed, the look and finish of the actual light is very good. The box for the wiring is plastic and no wire bushes or mounting screws are supplied. Installation is straightforward and the light output is bright and clean. I bought these lights because Amazon recommended them and they were the best price. Installation was simple and quick. The lights even fit in an area under a joist. They are no thicker than 5/8 sheetrock. Dimming also worked better (got more dim) than my Lowe's more expensive lights. HOWEVER...about 1/3 of my lights have now stopped functioning, meaning they look like they're cracked and they stay much dimmer than the others. The LEDs, or the capacitors to run them, do not last. My Lowe's lights still work like new, while I'm trying to decide now what to do with these Sunco junk lights. If you buy these, buy 50% more than you need so have replacements as they go out. ... show more
