I bought these lights to have integrated junction box. The box itself is very small and made out of very thin plastic. The cover does not stay in place. Pretty much useless and probably will not pass inspection. The spring which holds this light is not very strong so it pops out a little under weight of attached romex wires. ... show more

Purchased these as replacement for when a contractor installed what I think was an earlier model with a separate transformer. These were easy to install and fit the same hole as the original installation. Original lights were 5000K and these are 6000K so a little brighter in the kitchen.

Easy installation, but if you have several connected you mgit consider the series with the side box instead so you have more space to cram all the 12/3 wires in there. Otherwise super simple, cut a 4" hole, slip in there and done. They sit more flushly than the old school lights and they dont get hot. I did have to swap out the switches though, some of the older light switches don't work with leds very well and they kept powering out at dim levels. Bright as he'll though, I'll say that. I replaced four 3" 50w lights with these and altogether don't need any of the other overhead lighting in rooms as large as 15x20. Pretty dope overall, I'll update if they crap out too soon. All these integrated leds are great until they're dead. Only downside really. ... show more
