I have a been thinking of picking up a solar powered trickle charger for a while. My Chevy Express camper conversion doesn't get driven as often as it should. The Prime Day deal got me off the bench. Amazon delivered late in the day after I ordered, but still enough sun to test it out a little. I got out my multimeter and tested the panel from my balcony which was out of direct sunlight, it produced 18.65 volts, which was more than I expected. I grabbed the panel, MPPT Charge Controller, and the battery clips and went down to the parking lot to try it on my van, which still was in direct, but starting to set sun. I connected the charge controller to the battery first. and nothing happened, I connected the panels and the controller lit up, went straight to AGM and started charging. I had tested the battery with my meter before connecting anything and it had 12.2 volts. After running the charger for about 15- 20 minutes, the scale went from a blinking 75% to a blinking 100%. After a total of 30 minutes voltage tested at the battery was 12.6 volts and the controller was still blinking at 100%. The panel was getted shaded at this point so I packed everything up and will start earlier tomorrow. I am pleased with the purchase, everthing appears to work as intended, I'm looking forward to not having to worrry about a depleted starter battery while camping this fall. I will update if things change, but so far it's all good!

Worked exactly as described and reliably charges my batteries when properly set. Occasionally struggles switching to the right MPPT modes manually, but it’s easy enough to correct.

I have been using this to keep my boat agm batteries, (3 in the single bank), topped off and it has worked better than I expected. It is a well made, solid product that performs extremely well. When I installed it there was no position that allowed for the avoidance of a small amount of shadow falling on it. Even with the panel not being in full sunshine the charging did not seem to be affected. It is working so well I am thinking of purchasing another one for my restored 1977 Triumph Spitfire's battery.

So far it's working great to keep my small camping trailer battery charged and ready to go. It took no time at all to hook it up and I already had a great place to mount the solar panel. The bracket for mounting the solar panel is a little flimsy but it seems to work just fine. If it can handle the winters and summers here in northern Utah it's a winner. So far a great deal for the money.

It simply didn't work. Installed by plugging into an accessory port in my motorhome, but it failed to power on. I also tried connecting it directly to the battery with the same results. The MPPT controller just doesn't come on.
