I love everything about these curtains! The look, material, and sun blocking. They aren’t 100% black out, but I’d say 80%. Bonus- I also bought from Amazon as used and they were perfect. I saved a substantial amount and paid $20 for two panels. I’ll definitely be looking into this option more often.

I'm actually pretty surprised at the quality of these. They aren't stiff and cheap like other blackout curtains I've purchased before, theyre soft and flowy and i like this color more than i expected (denim). A lot of reviews mentioned they aren't fully blackout, but they are if you layer with a sheer or semi sheer curtain behind. although I do love these curtains. they are not true blackout curtains. because they do not have the black backing on them, it allows sun to come in. The front fabric is the same exact fabric on the back. So if you want to darken your room like a vampire completely these are not for that. but I like these rather than getting blinds because I change them up. ... show more

For this very inexpensive price, these are decent curtains if you don't mind a few flaws. The most notable being that these are NOT blackout curtains, not even close to being that. There is no back lining to block sunlight. Light does penetrate the curtains. They block a decent amount of light, my guess would be 60%. The weave of the fabric is not all that tight in some places, though that's only noticeable upon close-up inspection.
