These are very nice , I put them in almost every room of the house yes they are wrinkly but that does not bother me. They do block out some sun, seeing as how they are only level two it's not that dark. AND I also bought them to replace broken vertical blinds, very nice.

First, the quality is exactly what I expected it to be given the price I paid. I ordered the white curtains, 4 panels sized 40x84. 3 were the correct size, 1 was 40x63. A replacement should be on its way for the panel that's incorrectly sized, although it still sucks I have to take the time to drive and stand in line to return the "bad" panel when it's not my error. Oh well. The material is plastic-y and despite steaming and ironing, I cannot get all the wrinkles out. Hopefully gravity helps with that over time. I hesitate to wash/dry these curtains because I have zero faith they'd survive. But for under $10 bucks, I wasn't expecting curtains that lasted forever anyway. The back lining on one panel tore very easily as I tried to drape it across my ironing board, which adds to my doubt that these would hold up when being machine laundered. I also don't have faith that these stand up to the claim of being thermal, but I didn't buy them for that purpose, so that isn't a deal breaker for me. I bought these for privacy and because they are the color I needed and they DO hold up to those standards. I was actually surprised that I couldn't see through these curtains even a little. Now I just need to hope my cats won't think these are fun for their claws, otherwise I may not even get the couple years out of these that I'm "hoping" to get! So, overall, if you need something cheap for privacy and you don't care that they won't last too long, these actually are a decent option. ... show more

I am giving these five stars as you get what you pay for. The price is extremely cheap. There is one panel, not two. The charcoal color completely block out light which is what I was looking for. But If you swipe through their images there is one that says blocks some light. The feel and light filtering may depend on the color and pattern you purchase. I live right outside of Chicago and my goal was to block the cold. These do just that. The fabric is not a soft fabric, it's not plastic, it is in between. The point is it works to block the elements. Style wise they are not bad even with the smaller rod. Ignore the puzzles and games in the picture as the room is being redone.
