Great changing mat
I hadn't ever really thought about getting a wetsuit changing mat before, until I saw this. In all honesty, I didn't even know that something like this existed. It's honestly one of my favorite things to use now, because I don't have to worry about putting on my socks & shoes, or changing clothes, or anything in general, regardless of the surface that I am standing on. The size of this is perfect for me to be able to stand on, & be able to move enough to change clothes. I really love the fact that I can take this to the beach or take this with me camping (honestly my favorite use for this), & that this works really great for putting my wet clothes (or dirty clothes) in it when I am done changing. I also really appreciate how durable this mat is, & how well built it is, & I really appreciate the multiple warnings that are written on the mat on how to care for it. Definitely a must have for any outdoor enthusiast!

A very useful changing mat
The last time I went to the beach, when I had to change out of my wetsuit after boogie boarding, I stood on a beach towel to do it. Sand got everywhere. I actually had to take my wetsuit back into the ocean to rinse it off. With this mat, I won't have to do that. The mat is heavy-duty plastic that is woven, waterproof, and sandproof, and is just large enough to stand on while slipping out of your suit. When you're done changing, the mat can be closed with built-in drawstrings to become a tote bag. It is large enough to hold both my wetsuit and snorkel gear, but barely. See attached photo. For reference, I have a size 3XL wetsuit and XL sized snorkel gear in the bag. It should be noted that, when toting that much gear, or even less gear (like just some snorkeling equipment), the top of the bag will not cinch down completely. There will still be a gap at the top. And in my opinion, the flaps that are sewn into both sides of the bag to help cover the gap at the top are useless. They don't help at all. This is a very nice item to have, and I'll certainly be taking it with me on my future trips to the beach.

Pefect For Changing Waders Too!
Not just for the beach! This mat is the perfect solution for fly fishers changing in and out of waders. Prior to this I was using my truck floor mats for getting in and out of my breathable waders when arriving and leaving my fishing spots. I live in the rocky mtns and they didn't name them "rocky" for nothing. Breathable waders have neoprene stocking feet and nothing wears them down faster than stumbling around in a dirt parking lot while trying to put on your waders and wading boots. I've been using this mat for a couple of weeks now and it is the best solution I've come across yet. The waterproof material is super durable and I'm confident that it will last through many years of use and abuse. At the end of the day I change back into my civilian clothes and fold my wet waders and boots into the mat like a taco and chuck it into the truck, done deal. Just a fantastic solution for fly fishers. The mat is inexpensive and well constructed. All stitching was well done and not a stitch out of place. My brother was jealous and had to order one for himself. Excellent product I must say.

So convenient - and definitely waterproof!
My husband surfs the SoCal waves every weekend and keeping water and sand out of the car is a never ending battle. This waterproof beach changing mat by SUN NINJA is a game changer. It is so handy to unfold onto the ground for easy changing and peeling off the wetsuit. It is a generous 32” round which allows plenty of wiggle room. You can just drop the wetsuit and wet sandy towels onto the mat, then cinch it up, and use the handles to carry it all away. I love the functionality and durability. This is one of the best surf accessories I have found! It makes a terrific gift and priced at under $20, it is a great value.

This is saved my car from sand on many trips so far this summer
I really enjoy the quality of this it's well put together and doesn't feel as though it's going to degrade over time it makes changing much easier without tracking sand all over a car I really like how durable it feels and I like that it's waterproof overall I find that it's very sleek and looks good to carry in public so it's easy to use because I don't feel embarrassed to break it out in fact it feels cool because some people notice it and immediately think wow I wish I had one of those at least that's what they tell me ultimately I find this is useful for the beach and even for the lake it just depends on where they're sand very helpful and a great value

TLDR: Cool mat, definitely helps with changing. I love the bright blue color as well! It is so so nice to be able to change and throw all our bathing suits and other wet clothes in one bag together for the trip back home instead of worrying of putting them in old grocery bags and still wondering if they might leak. I do think the mat itself could be a bit thicker, but more so that the side panels and pull strings could be better quality. They just feel cheaper than the rest of the mat which sucks bc those may be the first thing to fail. We will see how they hold up over time, but so far I do like this mat.
