simply doesn't do the job. 5mm padding isnt enough. As a woman I got S and it was extremely small, so that I couldn't put the thin sin all around my torso - which would have given me 2mm additional padding. but that only works for a child. I got the Heeru Ribguard (not on Amazon) recently and this one has actually helped me reduce/eliminate my rib pain. This product worked great! I am a avid surfer and I have a protruding left side rib. When I surf it is uncomfortable when I lie down on the board. This product has helped alleviate the pain. Stayed on well,didn’t move as much I Had previously assumed. Definitely recommend!

Recently whenever I surf, I was experiencing pain at he base of my sternum as mine sticks out a bit. The Ribguard work fine, but paying $36 for 1mm wetsuit material that has Velcro on one end seems grossly over priced to me.

I loved this product. It works perfectly to keep sternum and rib pain at bay. It shifts down slightly in big surf but for the most part stays put. I do think it is slightly overpriced for the amount of actual material

The ribguard works well. It can move around a bit in the surf, but that is almost unavoidable since the ocean does it's thing.
