This scalp scrub smells like a tropical vacation, like most of Sun Bum’s products do. The scrub is gentle, and lathers enough to function as shampoo too. I’m very pleased with this product.

This is for my husband who has very short hair but an oily scalp. He had a lot of buildup on his hair from the product he uses. This made his hair soft. It also is great for his scalp. It would not work for me at all though. My hair is long. This is a very thick product. It smells just like the suntan lotion which I love so much. Will buy again but I don’t think the ladies with long hair will enjoy this for themselves. ... show more

I really really love this shampoo! I already use bar shampoo because it works great on my curly hair and I can spot clean my scalp without stripping my curls of moisture. If you rub this together in your hands it heats up and it feels great on your scalp. It smells just like suntan lotion at the beach which I personally love. It's very light, it cleans your hair without messing with the texture and it's not heavy or very moisturizing even though it's a cream base. I think I have found my new favorite go to! Fair warning, this product is THICK. Like really difficult to squeeze out of the bottle. And because of how thick it is and hard to spread, I feel like it takes quite a bit to get my whole scalp covered good. That said, I really like this stuff. It scrubs well, lathers, smells good, rinses out easily, and definitely makes my scalp feel cleaner. My hair feels healthier since implementing this into my haircare routine. I only wash my hair once every three days, and use this probably about every third wash or so. I have used it five or six times and still have close to half a bottle left, so I'd say it's pretty well worth the price. I'd probably buy this again. *** I am allergic to banana (at least to ingest it), and noticed after using this that it does have banana in it, but my skin didn't react to it fortunately. Product is thick like others said I thinned it out with water and got a great lather definitely hard to get out of the bottle so I’m gonna cut mine open and put in a container but other than that my scalp felt great after use. Definitely recommend.
