I have super thick hair and live in FL, the sun, salt water, chlorine takes a toll on my hair. My hair has been looking really bad lately and I've had a ton of build up that I just can't get out so I thought I would get this a try and WOW! As some of the other reviews mentioned, it's thick and gritty and a little difficult to get out of the tube but just lather it on there and you will not regret it! I applied the Sun Bum Hair mask on the remainder of my hair and left both on for about 10-15 minutes before rinsing everything out. This is for my husband who has very short hair but an oily scalp. He had a lot of buildup on his hair from the product he uses. This made his hair soft. It also is great for his scalp. It would not work for me at all though. My hair is long. This is a very thick product. It smells just like the suntan lotion which I love so much. Will buy again but I don’t think the ladies with long hair will enjoy this for themselves. ... show more

I really really love this shampoo! I already use bar shampoo because it works great on my curly hair and I can spot clean my scalp without stripping my curls of moisture. If you rub this together in your hands it heats up and it feels great on your scalp. It smells just like suntan lotion at the beach which I personally love. It's very light, it cleans your hair without messing with the texture and it's not heavy or very moisturizing even though it's a cream base. I think I have found my new favorite go to! The product itself is pretty good, and works super well, it also smells like suntan lotion, which I love. My only issue with it is it’s a pain to get out of the bottle. You almost have to even stand in it to even get just a small amount out. If you just changed the packaging, I’d have no complaints!
