It advertise as 4000w continuous and 8000w peak output. It's already surging above 2000w and will go into fault mode. This unit doesn't like inductive loads such as window air conditioning unit, microwaves or anything that draws above 1500w. My appliances and devices never reach 4000w and sometimes it will go into fault mode around 2500w. I had to constantly reboot the unit to clear the fault and get it back online. This unit is a little to small being a 4000w inverter more like a 2000w. There's a customer having similar issue I'm having. I don't know if I have a defected inverter or faults advertising. I really like the appearance of this inverter but unfortunately I end up returning it back. All it gave me is nothing but trouble. If you're buying this to power lights and small device then it may work for you. I'm wiring this review so you can save your hard earn money and time. Looks else where.
