This is expensive. I am not the type of person to ever spend this kind of cash on skincare - but believe me when I say this is the most lovely, therapeutic, and effective product I’ve used in my skin in a long time. It’s incredibly hydrating but also sinks in so quickly. With continued use I really noticed a “vitality” to my face. My skin looked brighter, more hydrated, and generally youthful. I’ll be repurchasing this. When you apply the serum/essence, it sinks in right away. I feel as if the alcohol in this formulation is helping the ingredients penetrate more deeply, and doing the same for other products you layer on top. If you aren't a fan of alcohol, you can stay away from this. Alcohol does dehydrate skin, but Sulwhasoo seems to have included some deeply hydrating ingredients to counteract this effect. I did some research, and the effect of alcohol on skin has actually be studied quite a bit and they've found no real negative side effects, long or short term. But I don't need research to know this serum makes my skin feel so healthy. The result is a velvety, beautiful texture that sinks in to skin leaving you feeling refreshed and hydrated.

I got a sample serum from Ipsy a while ago and I'm so grateful for being introduced to this brand/product. It seems super spendy, but its great if you're just getting started/need a base line and want a product you KNOW is going to work. Cleanses work well, no scent and is cleans well. Serum is soft and spreads well. Moistuzer is like butter. My sensitive skin feels and looks hydrated and feels super clear.

This is my little secret in my skincare routine. When I use this consistently for a few days my skin is softer and looks brighter. I use it directly after washing and it feels like it helps everything else I layer over it to work better. The scent is herbal-ish but light. It fades after a few seconds and I don’t mind it. I've heard and read some great things about this brand. I figured I'd give it a shot. It's only been a couple of uses, but so far it's not irritating my skin. I'm very sensitive, and it does have fragrance in it. I'm not a huge fan of the scent, but it goes away pretty quickly, and so it's fine. For what I paid, I expect this serum to be a miracle worker!!!! Update: It's been a week and honestly, I gave up as the scent of antiseptic was just to much for me. I'm disappointed, but my husband will use it until it's gone.

I really wish more companies would do this very same thing offer a kit with a bunch of trial-sized products and maybe one full size product. I had been very excited to try these but they just didn't work out for me. something in one of them is making me break out and I don't have that issue with the current line of products that I am using. having said that I intend to try a couple of the products independently on their own to see if they're just reacting bad with the current line that I am using. In the end though i dont think they are for me but I encourage everyone to try them because it's a really good brand.
