Keeps the boots together and easy to carry. And once skiing, it is easier to stow the strap away in your pocket, than a ski boot bag. Also the unadjustability I don’t see as a disadvantage. One plastic bracket less to worry about. And best thing, these straps are dog approved.

Ordered these to keep some boots nicely hung up. They're for snowboard and ski boots but I put them to the test with kitchen boots. Tired of dragging greasy boots across the entry we hung up boots on these straps. You can clip them to the back of your boots via their provided strap, or go through the lacing if not. They have a clip. You can then throw em over your shoulder or just grab and carry. We hung them up on an over the door hanger that had about 6 inches from wall to boot. Straps make them easy to grab and take with you to work, and off and carry back in with you from work, in the car, on your walk home, in your gear bag.. Simple and functional. Could easily use them to hang up other items as well. Anything you can clip and hold. Worked well for the main purpose. Held heavy boots. Could easily think of tons of others. I bought this for skiing day trips. The strap is thick and the hooks are sturdy. I hook it to my boots and throw them over my shoulder. Should last a lifetime.

    • Worked well, but a bit hard to un-clip from the boot loop sometimes.
It worked well. Made carrying my gear much easier. They securely clip-on. It didn't break during a 7 day ski trip. I'm happy. They are a little bit hard to "un-clip" from the boot loop (depressing the spring and getting the fabric-type loop through) due to the way the clip is shaped. I like how simple and durable my snowboard boot strap feels. The hooks slip on and off easily and it holds good. It makes moving your boots so much easier I would always recommend having a boot strap. It’s fairly priced and worth it! The material is thick and can withstand weight and wear.
