  • Good for helping elevate humidity
Size: 3-OZ
You get quite a bit in the bag. Enough to utilize in all four of my terrariums. Holds moisture well in nice you soak it for a while, I mist it occasionally to help maintain appropriate humidity levels. Snakes really love the texture too. This is a staple in our house for our BPs.

  • It's nice clean natural moss.
Size: 3-OZ
It's natural moss. If you don't mind other plants growing in it, it's nice. This moss does contain seeds is what I mean. I have what looks like 2 or 3 different plant sprouts growing out of the moss in my dart frog enclosure. I guess I'll wait and see what they turn into. I'll post some pics of the seedlings when I get a chance or if i remember to, lol. Overall, I like it. Buying more right after I post this. ... show more

  • Soil Mites
Size: 3-OZ
I purchased this moss with the intention of adding it to both my Albino Gecko tank, and my Hermit Crab tank to create more of an “earthy” outdoor environment for them. Before, I simply had sand mixed with coconut substrate, however after adding the moss, soil mites QUICKLY became my worst nightmare. They were increasing rapidly, taking over the water sources and piled at the corners of the tanks after my attempts to get rid of them. The only option I had was to dispose of everything in their tanks and wash them thoroughly, letting them dry in the sun. I’ve never had mites until I added the moss, and due to my experience I will never think about adding it again. ... show more

  • Nice colorful moss for the terrarium
I picked this up for my boy's toad terrarium. There's actually a lot of moss packed in to the bag, so much that I couldn't use even half of it in a 20 gallon long tank. What surprised me was how bright green the moss was out of the bag and then how well it is holding it's color. Even though it's been wet and dry and under a light for months it's still looking great. The moss also holds a lot of moisture and really helps keep the humidity up in the tank. Would be a great addition to a hide for a lizard for shedding. Good purchase! ... show more
