  • A mess for a complete series collection
US listing fulfilled with UK/ Region B version with UK/IRL/German rating labels instead of US Region A Blue-ray edition show in listing. All discs were mixed up and only seasons 6-9 were labeled as such, all earlier seasons we not labeled. It was unclear how many discs were supposed to be there for each season, most had four discs, season 9 only had 3 - idk if that's correct or not. Overall, very confusing, messy and sketchy. ... show more

  • great show, poor labeling of discs
I've already watched the TV series and wanted to own a copy should they stop making the series available on streaming. This is a region free blu-ray version normally sold in Europe. My issue is not all the seasons have the the season number clearly showing in a decent size font on the discs. Starting with Season 6, the season number is shown very visibly in the lower half of each disc (see first photo). However for Seasons 1 thru 5, the season number is ONLY in very very tiny print around the circumference edge of each disc (see second photo). Note: season 6 thru 9 also have the season number along the circumference in tiny print but they decided to include it in decent size in the center. As with other 'complete series' in a single box, I hate the box as multiple discs are stacked on top of each other. In the first photo there are about 3 or 4 discs in each stack so to get to some of the season 6 discs I have to remove the season 5 discs on top to get to the disc I want to watch. I know it makes everything compact but sometimes I'm afraid a disc will crack/split as I try to remove discs to get to the one I want to access. The images in blu-ray are great (on my LG OLED upscaled to 4K). Like it better than the streaming version though the streaming version is pretty good. ... show more

  • BEST BUY EVER!!!
LOVE AMAZON!!!!

  • poor quality case, poor labeling, good price. good for disc binder.
I bought a bluray set. The case is fair-to-poor quality. Though the case seems relatively durable, the discs are poorly laid out in the case and it seems difficult to figure out how to open the case and how the discs should be put back in the case, and the case seems a bit generic, and where there should be a push button in the middle to release the discs there is no such button, making it a bit difficult to get the discs out, and I'd hate to be doing that regularly. It also seems unclear how to properly separate the layers of the case to expose other discs to get those out. all in all the case is not great, and is especially not well laid out. The case also arrived with a crack in it, but not too bad. The discs are poorly laid out in the case, and seasons 1-5 are not well labeled as to which season the discs belong to (ya gotta look at tiny print around the outside edge of each disc to see which season it belongs to, and on one disc the printing was unclear and I had to guess that disc belonged to season 1). For my use though, I'm putting the discs in a disc binder so hopefully I only have to sort them once and deal with getting them out of original packaging once. This set seemed to cost less than others of the same show, (I assume) because of the difficult packaging and labeling, but I think I can overlook these issues for my usecase (putting them in a disc binder) and because it seems to cost less than the other disc sets of this series. If you buy large sets of tv shows like this and have a lot of discs in poor packaging, consider buying and using a disc binder, just be aware that Bluray discs just might be the slightest bit thicker and heaver than DVD discs which might be the slightest bit thicker than CD discs, which might make some disc binders made for the marginally lighter and thinner discs physically less compatible with the marginally heavier and thicker discs. Just things to consider. (also, in general, watch out for "bootleg" DVD's, and compatibility problems between discs from different regions such as the incompatible ntsc and pal standards for DVD-Video, and different region codings on both DVD-Video and bluray discs.) also, be aware of how many discs it is. The bluray disc set I got is 34 discs, which is a whack-ton of discs if you're not thinkin about it. ... show more
