  • safe for my babies
The media could not be loaded. So many baby toys just make noise and light up but this toy does so much more! It really works on visual motor skills and helps my baby with their developmental skills. There are lots of activities baby can do. The toy has 4 removal tops so baby shape sort and stack colorful shape pieces and place on pegs, there is also a carrot harvest, a hole to do a ball drop and baby can coin drop. The toy is safely made for babies with such a cool design! Overall, this is a great toy and gift idea for any sweet baby ! ... show more

  • Choking hazard
I really loved this toy, and my 6 month absolutely loved it. But he pulled out the leaves from the carrot and out popped a little piece of wood that hinges them together. That is a checking hazard!! So Just beware, either take them off before hand or glue them down appropriately or just make sure they are supervised. I still let him play with the toy because its honestly great for skills I just removed the leaves. ... show more

  • Cute 4 in 1 wooden kit
Overall it’s a cute little wooden kit to play. My baby loved it. My complaints are..: the coin came glued together, and when I tried to separate the pieces the ink went off. And for the size of the blocks, it’s definitely a chock hazard!! Especially for the little ones that loves to put everything on their mouths. So be aware and don’t let your child playing alone with it. Other than that I just loved the quality. Great learning toy. ... show more

  • Very pleased!
Since I tend to read reviews compulsively before purchasing items, I want to share my honest feedback about products to help others make informed decisions. For my older kids, it was Fisher Price and Playskool all the way. The more music and lights, the better-- anything that would distract them long enough for me to get the laundry and dishes done. Back then, I was against the concept of Montessori because it seemed too loosey-goosey for this budding Tiger Mom. Well, fast-forward 15 years and a bumper crop of babies, I’ve finally realized that one of the greatest elements of Montessori toys and methods is the calm, purposeful play and interactions. Peace is priceless! Thanks to Lovevery’s marketing, Montessori toys are becoming more popular every day, but many families are hesitant to pay $$$ for a quarterly subscription. (It’s me. I’m ‘many families’) This 4-in-1 box seemed like a great opportunity for my 8-month-old baby to practice several different skills. I love the way this set is organized. The way that the interchangeable tops are stored in the fold-down side is genius, as is the little loop closure to keep the unit together. We started with the ball. Thank goodness the set included two, because as soon as baby grabbed ahold of one, there was no letting go! I was able to use the other ball to demonstrate. Quickly I realized that I needed to keep my thumb against the edge of the interchangeable tops because baby was more interested in sliding out the tops than placing the ball. Next, we tried the carrots. I love the size of these carrots. Many of these online sets look great in the photos and are clearly choking hazards in real life, but these carrots, coins, and spheres seem more developmentally appropriate. (Please see my photos to get a better understanding of the real-life size.) The peg-shapes made me nervous. I realize that small fingers need small pieces, but these seemed especially tiny. We will wait until baby is a little older before practicing this skill. All in all, I am very pleased with this set. The company could even leave out the peg-shapes skill and this set would still be a good value and a solid buy. ... show more

  • Great Montessori option to encourage learning and play
This toy set is a great option if you are looking for something to keep your little one developmentally challenged and learning while they play. The multi-piece set can be used to play in many ways which would make the toy usable for many age groups. My daughter is 6 months old and loves to play with the carrot planter specifically. The tops of the carrots are easy for her to grab and the size of the carrot is appropriate for safe play. The coins and object permanence box with the balls are also so fun to use. The puzzle pieces are a bit small and I would guess would be more appropriate for babies closer to 12 months or even older (which is totally okay, we just put it away for a few months). The product itself is made very well, there are no rough edges or paint chips. I appreciate how easy it all is to wipe down and store. All of the pieces do fit in the object permanence box with a little effort that way you can store them all together in one location. ... show more

  • Good Option
I looked at similar toys to this for a good while before coming across this one. The reason I went with it over the others is because the plates slide in instead of being held on by magnets and the side can be folded up. It makes it very convenient to be able to change the activity based on skill and interest of a toddler, without having to have a lot of different toys around. It's good for budget and space. Then folded-up side secures with an elastic loop over a wooden knob on the side of the box. Inside the box is a slope so that, when the side is down, objects roll right out down the slide. I'm happy with this toy. It's just what I was looking for. ... show more
