This has been my three-year-old son‘s favorite toy since Christmas when Santa brought it for him. The quality of the Melissa and Doug toys are unmatched. The only thing I would change about it is that it's quite loud and the "gas" meter is a timer that has a loud ringing at the end. This gets old quickly for the adults lol. It's also very pricy at full price and I would not say it's worth full price. But otherwise, it's a good toy that will keep little ones of many ages occupied! ... show more

So, I’ll preface this by saying this toy is really annoying. I hate loud toys, most of our toys don’t make noise and I didn’t read enough to realize this would before I bought it. That being said, it’s worth the annoying noises for how much use this thing gets. I got it for my 2 year old son for Christmas, we came down with a flu that night and the next day he spent the ENTIRE day playing with this thing which made our lives so much easier while sick. He spent hours on it that day. It’s been 5 ish months and he still loves this thing. It gets so much use and the batteries are somehow still working. It’s small and could easily be taken out but I haven’t brought it anywhere simply because it’s loud. My only complaint is how loud it is.
