I bought these nearly 5 years after my hysterectomy. I originally purchased them for working out to help with swamp crotch and they did amazing! The absorb sweat and the occasional bladder leakage. Left my work out pants completely dry! Now I wear them when I’m waitressing to help with sweat absorption. My only complaint is they seem a bit “short” in the butt crack area. I apparently have a Grand Canyon crack so they don’t sit completely correctly. I have still been wearing them for almost a year. Buy them. You’ll love them. These are just okay. Kind of bulky/wide in the gusset area and the stitching/seams are thick. The lace back is pretty, but the construction is just “off.” I suppose they are an alright value…I was just hoping for more.

I was really impressed by these. I don’t use them as actual pads, more just as a back up for leakage. So I can’t speak to the absorbency. They are great quality and I’m actually not worried about the lace ripping in the laundry. One issue- they get stinky. Worse than a different brand that I have used. I haven’t tried any larger name brand names- so I can’t speak if it’s just be expected with these kinds of undies. But I don’t have that issue with my regular panties. I always size up with period panties. Normally a L or XL. I got XXL and they fit great. There is a bit too much fabric in the front that bunches up for me- almost like it’s shaped hipster style. My absolute favorite brand of "period thongs"!! I have tried many different brands over the years but I keep coming back to buy these! The quality is excellent and they do the job they are intended to do! In the past, other brands' fabrics have scrunched up making them horrible with leggings or anything tight. This brands fabric stays 100% smooth after washing! I also love how the elastic hugs my waist helping them stay in place. The lace adds an extra "sexyness" about them because I already feel so unsexy having to wear "period thongs" due to incontinence issues. The sizing is also consistent and true to size. This product was functional and I did not have any messes or mishaps wearing the underwear during my period. However, the material has almost no elasticity and really dug into my backside, the seams left red marks on my body and I did purchase the correct size. The padded lining is very bulky and visible in the front like a diaper if you wear these with tighter-fitting shorts. I wanted to like this product, and while the lining worked to contain my flow, it was so uncomfortable to wear that I cannot recommend buying it. ... show more

As some who exclusively uses tampons, I’ve had reservations about period panties. —Do they really work? —What about the non-liquid parts (blood clots and chunks of the uterine lining)? —Does it feel nasty like wearing a soggy diaper? —Etc Well I’m here to say these panties have changed my life! I have extremely heavy periods and often leak through Ultra-size tampons. I use these as a backup to catch leaks and they really work! On lighter days, they can be worn as the only form of protection. Surprisingly, I find this far more comfortable than expected, despite my prior reservations. In fact, I think just period panties without a tampon may now be my preference when at the house. The material is comfortable and I like the lace in the back. The lace does not feel too flimsy either. I put them in the washing machine without fabric softener then allow them to air dry. So far I have had no issues and am considering ordering a second pair because I am so pleased with them. ... show more
