As another review reported, I ordered the unit with the door handle on the top but received one with the door handle on the side. For me it didn't make any difference, I just ordered the lowest cost option. The fridge comes very well packed, just cut the straps and the box opens without cutting any cardboard. One year limited warranty but terms are that customer pays for return shipping. Easy to set up, working well out of the box, its great that it can keep white wines nice and cold. One odd thing is that there is no internal light as far as I can tell. Well, updating, there is an internal light, it just doesn't work very well, only penetrates through the first couple of layers of bottles. ... show more

    • Nice Wine Cooler!

I received this wine cooler two days ago, which was two days earlier than promised. Kudos to Amazon. I was replacing a built-in cooler which had died and was very concerned that this cooler would not fit in the space that I had. I measured and figured and it turns out that the item slid into the cabinet perfectly. A few small adjustments were needed but no worries. I do have a few negative comments. The racks inside the unit seem a bit flimsy but once loaded are fine even though the items do wobble some in the stand-up position.. I also wish that the chrome metal racks had had some sort of a stop mechanism at the back of the rack. The racks slide out half-way for loading and unloading which is a good thing, however in the pulled out position the cans or bottles have a tendency to fall off the shelf and onto the lower shelf. Wine and Champaign bottles are stable on their sides. Hint: In order to remove a shelf you need to push the shelf totally in and then tilt one side of the shelf up in order to remove it. It took me a while to figure this out. On the positive side The installation was easy, it took about 1/2 an hour including untangling the power cord from inside the back of the unit to attaching the handle. The unit then just slid right into the designated spot. The unit is cooling at this minute and it is very quiet, can't hear a thing. It appears to be cooling nicely on it's way down to the temperature to which it is set. My wife loves the way it looks; it does look good with the blue inside light. Also the racks are chrome, which my wife preferred. It just happened to come that way as most of the other units we looked at the racks were either black or wood. All in all I give the unit five stars. ... show more

Fits perfectly where an old trash compactor was in my kitchen. It's very quiet and cools down quickly. I chose this style because it has an are where you can store bottles upright so I can place an open bottle back inside to stay cool. I also like the tinted glass on the door so that you can't really see inside. The only problem was I was sent one with the wrong door style ( ordered the top handled one shown in the item description and received the one in the picture.) I don't know why this has so few reviews so far. This just arrived yesterday (8-30-2022), and we plugged it in and loaded today. So far I am thrilled. [Have not seen the temperature drop fully but believe it will.] First, I want to store my Prosecco lower than 41 so it's super cold. This goes to 34 in BOTH compartments which is hard to find. If I have more white I can store that in the larger section below. Usually, only the smaller top section of a fridge goes colder. We can split use this for beverages also--top or bottom; love that flexibility. Second, most wine storage shelves do not hold champagne or pinot bottles without removing a shelf. This fridge has places for slightly larger bottles without having to lose any storage. The shelves have a beechwood front and a tight metal grid for the body. Some other fridges have slots that limit where the wine "sits" on the shelf. This fridge's design makes it look nice but also possible to store cans instead of wine while putting the bottle wherever you want. Third, often a fridge actually holds fewer bottles than it says once you allow for the non-standard bottle shape. I have 47 bottles loaded now and several are pinot. Might be able to cram more if I tried. Lastly, we might remodel and want to use this "built-in" instead of free-standing, and this fridge can be built-in. Very pleased! ... show more

This fridge looks beautiful and holds its temp really well! I absolutely love it except for one thing- it randomly (maybe every few days?) beeps 6-8 times then stops. There is nothing obviously wrong with it. I would really like to know why it does this.

    • Womp, womp, womp....unit worked great and then quit

**edit** unit has stopped cooling after just 6 months of use. Love the look, love that I can use this to store coffee creamers at the coffee bar, but kept having issues with it holding 34 degrees for weeks at a time, then coming back home to a 64 degree cooler every now and then. Ruined dairy products once, and we didn't trust it to hold more than cokes and water. We finally figured out that every time the unit loses power - even momentarily - it resets to 64 degrees regardless of what it was set to previously. We have a back up generator, and even those few seconds between a power blip and the gen set taking over were enough to send it to 64. Now for the fix. We've now got this unit plugged into a battery back up that maintains power during those seconds that it takes the generator to come on. In the city, this may not be nearly as much of an issue, but out here in the country, tree limbs and winds make power outages a distinct possibility every time a bit of weather rolls in. Now that we've eliminated the possibility of loss of power, we are all good. ... show more
