While I “think” this may be a good thing in the long term, so far it’s been really tight on the plant stems. I think I just need to snip out more of the center as the plants get larger.

Make sure you get the right inserts for the size of holder cup. These fit snugly but make sure your net cups are sturdy and have a nice strong extra 1/8” lip. I prefer the angled inserts. These are completely straight.
