While long handles are great, if you live in freezing/thaw conditions you know you need both. This works exceptionally well, just remember to flip it upside down for thicker ice.

It's ok. I live in New England and I was looking for a sturdier scraper that would take ice off easily. It's sturdy but didn't work any better than a cheap scraper.
