I am a tour manager for a music artist and wanted a tactical style briefcase that would store a small laptop, headphones, random accessories and paperwork. I wanted something large enough but not too big and this bag is perfect. It has plenty of pockets, padded dividers and looks great. The quality seems quite good and really, I wouldn’t expect any more in that area. The only improvement that could be made in the shoulder strap. It is a bit thin and the pad is pretty much worthless. That said, If I really wanted to, I could easily obtain a heavier strap and simply clip it on but for me, this is a non issue. For conceal carry owners, a small holster is also included that velcros to the inside wall of the first outer compartment. Personally, I love this bag. Big but not too big. Really like this bag having the look and feel of a military grade bag. Lots of pockets with good fasteners / zippers. Functions perfectly for my use to keep American Legion banking / records to from meetings. The ONLY issue is I wish it was a little larger. The center compartment can hold a hard cover notebook and some files, and there are lots of other compartments on the sides and these have internal pockets. I cannot derate the review since I think they make a larger bag and I should have paid more attention. However, everything I carry fits in. Cannot speak to a laptop - do not carry one. Just notebooks, files, glasses, calculator and misc. items. IMHO can't go wrong with this bag. ... show more

I bought the larger size, and I’m glad I did. I’m 6’4” if I stand up straight and it’s a great fit. Nice laptop sleeve on the interior, plenty of exterior pockets including one that comfortably holds a 24 oz contigo coffee thermos. I attached a zip-tie to the two top zippers so I can open them both at once. Not a big deal. The top buckle seems a bit overkill. Not sure what the strap on the back is supposed to be for. I have been using this bag for several months now, every day, as a briefcase/computer bag. It has so far shown itself to be very durable. It has lots of pockets and features. The bucket that holds the top closed is a bit of overkill - I don't generally use it, but I haven't cut it off yet either. I bought the bigger size, and I am glad I did - plenty of room. HOWEVER, keep in mind that the larger size exceed most airline limitations for a "personal item." So if you fly with this bag, it will have to be your carryon, not your personal item. ... show more

I work full-time and I'm full-time seminary student. I got this bag to replace a well worn backpack. This bag fits all I need in it perfectly. I have my Bible with zippered cover, 14" laptop, leather mouse pad and bluetooth mouse, tablet with outdoor cover and stylus, cell phone with Otterbox, cover the ear bluetooth headphones, hearing aid case, charging cables and brick. I ordered the 17.3" size bag, what I received I could barely fit my Latitude 7430 in (which is a 14" laptop). I'll keep it, can still be used; but there ain't no way I can squeeze a 17" in it.
