Used this for sangrias at a shower. Perfect! Looked fantastic, showed off the fruit inside nicely. Was very easy to clean afterwards. Likes that it is glass. Seems more substantial than plastic. It is a LARGE dispenser! Gives you lots of room for beverage but you will need lots to fill it up!!!

This is the insert that came with the dispenser. Uncertain, if this part was used or not. I'm unable to get it replaced, and also unable to exchange the dispenser for a new one because they're gone. Very unhappy about the damaged insert, I wish there was some product support so that I could get that part exchanged at least. The dispenser is cute, I have not washed it yet, So hopefully I don't have back and edit this review to include that the dispenser also leaks! ... show more

loving this thing so far! it comes with two different inserts, both plastic. that is the one drawback, not sure why i assumed everything was glass. but it makes sense for the inserts to be plastic considering they will be handled often, plastic is less fragile. just seems like a shame to make the container such high quality glass to then soak everything with a giant piece of plastic. all things considered though, it works marvelously! lemon water is a staple in our home, and this just helps make big batches easier. it also makes using smaller fruits like strawberries or blueberries that much easier because you won't have to worry about them floating into your glass once you pour the water, like with a normal pitcher. the ice insert is solid, and i'm not sure how well that works, i guess we'll find out this summer. but the fruit insert will be getting quite a work out until then. also, the pail or stand it comes with doubles as an ice bucket when not being used as a stand. of course, the stand ensures a glass can easily fit beneath the spigot, so if the glass jar is not sitting on the stand, the jar will need to be close to an edge to allow for access. no big deal, but does change how secure the whole set up can be. this is really easy to clean too, my hand fits *with ease* in both the jar and inserts, the latter of which could easily get tossed in the dishwasher. love being able to make a huge batch of lemon water for sunday dinners with the whole crew and looking forward to many more events this will come in handy ... show more

Pro's: it holds 2 gallons of liquid and the spigot doesn't leak. CONS: it doesn't stay cold, putting fruit in it didn't infuse the water like I expected. I assume if you're going to used it for an outside event then maybe turn the bucket part where the open side is faced up, fill it with ice and sit the container on top to help keep it cold. If you fill it with ice it's going to water down your drink. It's a little hard to hand wash maybe put it in the dishwasher. ... show more

The dispenser is spray painted plastic and the stainless steel base is also flimsy and collects water stains. Besides the appearance, I'm mostly worried about leeching chemicals...it says in bold print NOT to wash with hot water. I wish I would have spent the extra money to get something nicer.
