As a beginner, the instructions were quite confusing to me and I still don't really understand how to use it or what each thing does. It has wonderful audio and can eliminate the voice of the singer in any song if you connect via Bluetooth or aux. It comes with sound cancelling earbuds that work great! The sounds on the buttons are quite disappointing but that's not too big of a deal. It has the option to record but I don't know how to playback the audio that's been recorded.

This is a really great starter kit for anyone looking to get an XLR microphone and an audio interface. The audio interface itself is more of an external soundcard as you can only plug in one XLR device and the functions on the audio interface are clearly intended for altering tones and pitches of one's voice. So it is more intended for adjusting and altering vocal audio. It's easy to setup and get going with a few cable connections and it has the added bonus of being powered by rechargeable battery for portability and cable management. The interface has a ton of options from being able to control the highs and lows, pitch, gain, echo, reverb, and multiple voice changing presets. If you're looking to create a specific voice sound this will probably get it done for you exactly the way you want if not close to it. The microphone itself comes with an XLR cable, stand, shock mount, and pop filter. You get everything you need and it's all plug and play. The quality of the mic is pretty good as well. It's no Blue let alone a Shur but it is a very good basic starter XLR microphone. If you're looking for a starter kit for doing podcasting or any kind of vocal audio recording and alteration this is a nice kit. $95.43 is a pretty good deal considering all of the equipment from one of the main name brands would cost you far more. Based on the price, quality, and performance of this kit I can recommend it.

I have zero experience with podcasting, recording, or streaming but thought this set may be a good way to learn and get into it. The set comes with a lot of items and they all come with separate instructions. The main item in the set is the sound card itself. This device looked a little intimidating having never worked with one before but the instructions walk you through on how to get it all up and working. The sound quality is really nice and it has some fun sound effects you can play with as you get to recording. The equipment itself seems to be of a nice quality and feels well made. The other main item is the microphone. The condenser microphone is cool looking and was easy to plug in to get working. The included stand and screen also help you get the best quality out of the microphone by helping you situate it in the best possible location. The device has a ton of connection options including phone, tablets, or computers. Overall, if you are looking for a fun starter set this bundle is a steal under $100s for the quantity and quality of products you receive.

You get what you pay for, so they say. In this case, I paid $96 with $30 off through Amazon, so it was $66. It's pretty basic, and the "effects" buttons are nothing really special, but what it does, it does well. It sounds pretty nice coming through my XLR microphone out to my PC. For what it is, it's pretty nice. If you're looking to play around with YouTube or Twitch video creation & just want a decent interface to the computer, go for it. It's not too bad, considering it's fairly cheap. And BTW, for those who may want to know, all three mic inputs can be used simultaneously. They're all tied to the same level control, so there's no independent level between the 3 mics, but that's not really a deal breaker to me.

As a beginner, I found the 48V XLR podcast microphone and sound card bundle by sktome to be a good choice for my needs. It's easy to set up and use, making it a great option for creating videos, streaming, and recording podcasts. The back-lighted buttons make it easy to use in low light situations, and the two inputs for smart phones allow for the use of multiple devices at the same time. It also has Bluetooth capabilities. That said, I’ll be looking at tutorials on “The University of YouTube” to provide some tips on creating my podcast and videos. Because it’s rechargeable, the bundle can be used remotely without needing to plug it in. By the way, it's important to note that the sound card needs to be charged before use. The description and operating instructions state that some smart phones: iPhone 7, 8 and some Android phones (my iPhone X as well), may require an OTG adapter for the lighting cable to connect to the bundle. You can get an OTG 2-pack at Amazon for around $10. I’m reassured by sktome's customer satisfaction statement, which includes a 12 month warranty and a no-questions-asked return policy within 40 days. They also promise to provide one-on-one professional staff to help solve any problems within 12 hours, making it easier to get started. Overall, I recommend the 48V XLR podcast microphone and sound card bundle by sktome for beginners interested in creating their own content. While there may be some additional expense for the adapter, I think the bundle is easy to use and can help streamline the content creation process.
