It looks much better in person! I have not washed it yet, I just received it today - I will update later. But first impression is really good! It's soft and the colors are not bright or cheap looking, it looks high end. Comes inside a cute reusable cloth bag (that i will never get this Comforter back into!) and a little wrinkly but i always wash bedding first anyway. I expect it will keep me warm on chilly nights, not so much when it gets really cold. I'll need to add another layer. But I prefer to purchase layers for my bedding anyway because it's easier to fit smaller pieces in my washing machine rather than one large bulky item. I'm thrilled with this and I'm seeing lots of decor in this color scheme in stores that will make it easy to complete this look. ... show more

I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality and look of this bedding. When ordering it I checked reviews but I did not want to have my expectations too high. This looks great and it feels comfortable. It isn't too heavy because my husband and I use different kinds of blankets. I like an electric blanket during the late fall and winter to really help me with achy joints. On the other hand, my husband likes blankets on his side of the bed year round because he feels I like it too cold during the summer, LOL! This comforter is so soft and beautiful! I originally accidentally ordered the wrong color the first time, and considered keeping it. But ultimately I decided to send it back, and order the color I truly wanted, even though that meant more waiting. I'm so glad I did!! This one matches the colors in my bedroom MUCH better!! I just received it yesterday, so obviously I can't speak to how well it holds up, but I'm definitely enjoying it so far!! It was quite wrinkled when I took it out of the packaging, but if you're as anal as I am, you can easily take out the wrinkles with a steam iron. Provided it holds up well, including after it's laundered, the next time I need a comforter, I'll be looking at this company first!! ... show more

I waited to post this review until I washed it the first time. I followed the instructions washing on cold, gentle cycle and low tumble dry but it came out extremely wrinkled (like it was in the package) and it shrunk a considerable amount. I can deal with the wrinkles (wrinkle releaser) but very disappointed that it doesn’t fit as well anymore. The accent pillow looked terrible out of the package and I have yet to get it to look like the picture 😕. Still a beautiful design on the bedspread though. ... show more

This is a pretty pattern, but that is all I can say nice about it. So wrinkled, and even after washing, still wrinkled. Tried ironing it, but wrinkles would not come out. I had cut the tags off, so could not return it, so into the trash it goes. It came rolled up in a cloth bag so tight I had to cut the cloth cover off to get it out.
