Let me start by saying I hardly ever write reviews. But I feel obliged to do so for this bed set, because if anything is 5 star review worthy, it is this “bed in a bag”. I won’t lie... I didn’t have very high expectations for this bed because I normally pay quite a bit more than this for bed sets. (I normally pay more than this just for comforters alone) Despite all the good reviews, I still wasn’t expecting to TRULY love it. But we were in desperate need of a new bed set and I figured that if nothing else, it must be really good for the price point so I finally decided to give in and buy it after months of having it sit in my cart. I bought a set of amazing pillows as well, which I also feel compelled to review because they are just as heavenly as the bed set. (I will put the link and/or name of the pillows at the bottom of this review) When everything first arrived, it was folded up very neatly and carefully placed into a bag with a handle, as the name “bed in a bag” suggests. The first thing I did after opening was check the color (I bought navy blue) in hopes that it wasn’t too dark that it almost looked black, or too light. It was perfect. As I opened it, I was immediately surprised at how soft and comfortable the material felt, especially the comforter. When I saw the picture of the comforter online, it didn’t look like it would be even close to this soft. I snuggled it to my cheek and excitedly got to work. I slept on it for the first time lastnight, and when I tell you that my husband and I slept like babies, I mean it. He’s extremely picky about his sheets, comforters, pillows, etc. and he is utterly amazed with all of it, as am I. One thing that I do need to mention is that the corners of the fitted sheet do not go all the way down and under as far as I would like, but that is because my mattress is a pillow top mattress and is raised quite a bit higher than a standard king size mattress. It would have fit perfectly if it weren’t for that. Even with our pillow top mattress, it still goes down far enough that it doesn’t ride up, so I would assume that with a regular mattress, it would not be a problem at all. One thing that really surprised me (in a good way) were the pockets on the fitted sheet. I honestly thought they seemed a little gimmicky and wasn’t expecting to be crazy about them, but being that I don’t have a nightstand on my side yet, it was extremely nice to have that pocket for my remotes, phone, book, etc. The pocket was much bigger than I imagined it would be, which is nice. It wasn’t in a weird spot either. It is placed perfectly for reaching your arm down to retrieve whatever you have stored inside. So to the good part... the sheets are not too hot or too cold, they are just right, imo. I hate being hot when I sleep so I was so happy that this was not an issue. Everything from the pillowcases, fitted sheet, flat sheet, and comforter were all very impressive. It felt like I was sleeping in a very expensive hotel and I loved every minute of it. I did not want to get out of bed this morning! I love the design of the comforter too. At first I was kind of wishing the pillow shams would have been a different color because everything looked a little too “matchy-matchy” in the pictures, but it looks beautiful in person. I cannot comment on the bed skirt because that is the only thing I did not use. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this bed set. I would have paid triple the price, maybe more. If you are reading these reviews, I’m assuming you are interested. Just buy it. It is HIGHLY unlikely that you will not love it, but luckily Amazon has a wonderful return policy if that really is the case. I don’t see how anyone could be anything less thank ecstatic about this purchase, especially for the price. As a matter of fact, I might buy another one in a different color. I chose this comforter set because of the many color options and positive Amazon reviews. I am more than satisfied with this purchase! I bought the turquoise set for my king sized bed. It is the PERFECT fit and the color is really beautiful. It was very easy to clean and there was no problem washing and drying the comforter at home with my washer and dryer, which was a huge benefit as well. The sheets, pillow cases and comforter are all very comfortable, smooth and seem to be of very decent quality. I'm not certain how well it will hold up over time with repeated use, washing and drying, but even if it doesn't hold up well, I definitely can't complain. It was also a great value, especially for a king-sized set. It arrived quickly and once I received it I immediately washed and dried it to use on my bed! I look forward to going to bed every night just so I can enjoy the comfort of this new comforter set! Would highly recommend! P.S.: The side pockets on the fitted sheet are genius!!! Such a practical feature I never knew I needed!

My job requires me to work summer camps on our college campus. I decided to purchase this set instead of taking a hot sleeping bag. I get over-heated easily and am used to sleeping on very nice sheets at home. First, I will say the sheets were my very favorite part of this set. I totally expected them to be rough. I've purchased items like this for my own children in college and the sheets are never this soft. I would LOVE to be able to purchase these sheets for my regular bed at home! Second, I feel the bedding (comforter and sheets) washed well. I did not notice any pilling, loose stitching, etc. The comforter came out fluffy. It is light-weight so if you tend to get cold easily you will want a blanket with this comforter. I think this is a great price. The xl twin sets I have purchased in the past for dorm use have always been at least $20 higher than this set. I think it is perfect for a dorm where kids are not going to take the greatest care of their bedding OR for a guest bedroom. I bought the Aqua Blue and it is very pretty. I used a thick mattress pad on my mattress and the sheets still had extra space for an even deeper mattress. I would purchase this item again with no regrets! High recommend!!

This comforter is absolutely gorgeous and the packaging shows pride in the product. The color is vivid, the quality is excellent and it lights up the room. The product is exactly as pictured. This is a package deal because of the eight pieces included. The fitted and top sheets, pillow cases and shams are all as vibrant in color as the comforter. I must say this is one of my better buys from Amazon to date and I am happy with the purchase and I have no complaints. With that being stated, I sadly had to return the set because I'm not as much of a pin tuck fan as I thought. But for those who are, this is a wonderful product that I know you will enjoy!

I absolutely love this bed set. It’s super soft and comfy. The design is super fancy and classy. My husband loved it and wasn’t too girlie. It did have a lot of loose threads on it but it didn’t affect the product. It’s super lightweight but still very warm. It came with much more than I expected; bedskirt, pillow shams, pillowcases but pockets in the fitted sheet! That’s what won my man over for sure! ***UPDATE 2 years later*** We STILL sleep with this comforter.! && STILL love it. I unfortunately lost the fitted sheet due to the pockets being well used and ripped but that’s after 2 years! I’m about to buy another set because I miss those awesome pockets the most! The comforter recently ripped in the wash but it was an easy repair for me.. I love this set so much and would buy every color if I could.
