  • Very Nice
Color: Teal
This watch is overall a great grab-and-go, do everything piece. The dial is a nice teal sunray - with faux patinaed hands and indices. The faux patina does effect the lume, which is not as bright or long-lasting as some other dive watches that I have. The case and bracelet are made of stainless steel, and the bracelet has solid endlinks and solid links. The watch has a decent weight to it. The movement is a Swiss quartz movement and has been keeping time to the second for the last two weeks. The crown and case back screw down - which is expected given the watch claims 100 meters of water resistance. I have submerged the watch several times, and it has not had any issues with moisture getting into the watch. The bezel has a nice feel and sound too. ... show more

  • Nice design but...
Color: Teal
This stuhrling Depthmaster Heritage swiss quartz has really nice style bezel. I like the smooth surgucal grade stainless steel giving that versatile look. Its water resistant upto 100m. Not waterproof. Easy to set date and time. But for its 400$ price watch, i can't seem to justify any specialty to it. I can't comment on the longevity of the watch too. The accuracy of the time is precise. Overall its a great watch just not fitting for that high end price though with minimal features. ... show more

  • A very nice looking "water resistant" divers watch
Color: Teal
The Stuhrling Depthmaster Heritage watch looks and feels like a very solid watch. The rotating bezel is an added bonus since many watches have a fixed bezel that doesn't rotate for looks only. This bezel is mainly used to track dive time and air supply so it's there and functional if you need it. The weight of the Stuhrling Depthmaster Heritage makes it feel like a very well made watch, and some of the bonafide divers watches in my collection are at least this heavy and heavier at 11 ounces. For me the 6 ounce weight of this Stuhrling watch is just about right and wrist fatigue free. I've generally found that watches that have a rotating bezel and back cover that requires a spanner wrench rather than a "pry off cover" are of higher quality. The instructions that accompany the Stuhrling watch are pretty straightforward and provide a good check list of do's and don'ts for the water resistant nature. So all in all, this watch does check a lot of positive boxes for my overall review purposes. The buckle clasp watchband is also a nice quality feature and is very comfortable on my wrist. I had to remove a couple of the band pins to achieve the proper fit, but this isn't difficult to do if you use the proper pin removal tool (not included). Once I started wearing this watch, it felt very comfortable and is easy to read at a glance with some depth between the dial glass and watch face (a good feature when viewing under water). The luminous hands and minute markers are okay in a very darkened room. One other aspect I like with this watch is the calendar date function. In my opinion, the Stuhrling Depthmaster Heritage watch is listed at a discounted price point that seems fair for the look and functionality. It comes in a very nice box including a small watch pillow for storage, and I think this would qualify the watch as a nice gift for the discounted price of $99 . The list price on this watch of $495 however I wouldn't consider a good value or price point, and wouldn't be inclined to buy it at that price. So if the price remains the same at $99, it's a great value, especially since it comes with a 2 year warranty and a $20 gift card when you register. That being said, this is a very nice watch with a Swiss mechanism, assembled in Hong Kong, but that shouldn't deter a person from giving the Stuhrling Depthmaster Heritage watch a try if they like the look and feel of it! I would recommend this watch at the discounted price of $99 as a really nice, thoughtful gift. ... show more

  • Lovely watch!
Color: Teal
I was blown away when I opened the impressive packaging. This is a nice watch. It's big and solid, and quite a change from my Apple watch. The setup is a bit tougher than I expected- it's been years since I've worn a watch like this, but I expected setting the time and date to be like riding a bike- easy to do once you get started. Sadly, not quite. It was a bit harder than I expected at first, and I managed to get the date set somewhat by accident. But what about the directions, I hear you ask. Well.... they're not as useful as I'd hoped. They're a bit limited, not always completely clear, and only struck me as useful as a guideline, since the tiny little booklet is apparently used for all their watch models. But thus far it seems like it's lost a minute or less in a couple weeks, so that's not bad. And for under a hundred bucks, that's not a bad deal! It's weird to get a "Swiss watch" which is made in China, but that's the world of today. And I presume if it were actually made in Switzerland, it would cost way more than a hundred dollars. Oh, and I have no idea how water resistant it actually is, but it's been fine so far. I guess just beware if you really want to go swimming with it. ... show more

  • Poor Value at List price
Color: Teal
It looks nice, but not $500 list price nice. It lacks the features of most modern watches, especially at list price. It is advertised at 80% off, selling for $100. At that price, it is probably about right for the limited features and looks. It lacks features of many more expensive watches, such as continous date, month, year, am/pm indicator, movement shut-off when not worn to save the battery, etc. It also does not have the tactile feel in the bezel, knob, and general feel of an expensive watch. ... show more

  • Nice watch
Color: Teal
This is a stylish watch even if you don’t dive. My husband really likes it to dress up. He’s a big guy and the size is perfect for him. The waterproof features are helpful for all water sports making it great for travel. It’s very giftable.
