Update- we were provided detailed instructional videos on how to place the bridge, adjust the strings, tune, shoulder rest placement, and how to prepare and maintain the bow and rosin. I have such a greater understanding for this lovely musical instrument and look forward to ensuring it is properly maintained for my little learner. Thank you for ensuring we were provided excellent instructions as we wished to take on the challenging task of prepping the violin ourselves and were able to do so with the resources provided. I’m so glad to support an educator of music, and thank you for teaching your craft to others. Original- It’s nice that this comes with a case and bow. It is also very well packed. The size is just right for a young learner. Can’t say exactly how functional it is as I’ve been waiting a good week now to receive instructions from the seller. Regardless of that, I believe that this kit should come with instructions in the first place. Hoping once we get instructions, will be able to place the bridge, tune and play the violin as it is meant to be. Will have to update when we receive the instructions we have been waiting for.

Got this in the mail pretty quick. It is beautiful. Had everything we needed. The only issue is the rosin was no good. Was not able to play the violin. Will have to order some and follow up with more on the review. Great price also!

I am a complete beginner. What knowledge level comes before beginner? That’s me. The look is STUNNING and really takes your breathe away. There are so many accessories (per ChatGPT, the right types of accessories). As for the beginner thing - I don’t know about that. I can’t get it to create sound because I have no idea what I’m doing. Others won’t have this issue. However, the QR code only links to a review rather than linking to any information on how to get started The weight and fit are so nice and it’s a nice value considering all that comes with it and the obvious quality when you hold it

The violin shines as a learning instrument: the factory setup with an upgraded bridge and sensible string action meant the student could produce clear notes immediately without extra adjustments. Solid spruce top and solid maple back and sides give a responsive instrument that reacts well to bow speed and pressure, and the ebony fingerboard and carbon‑fiber tailpiece add durability and tuning stability. The matte finish looks professional and the balance makes longer practice sessions comfortable. Where the instrument falls short for advancing players is tonal character. The sound is on the brighter side—clear and projecting, but lacking the warmer, rounded midrange that helps a violin sit in chamber or orchestral textures. This is a good starter kit that includes all the essentials. The violin arrived mostly assembled, requiring only the bridge setup and initial tuning. While tuning is straightforward, setting the bridge upright takes a bit of practice and care. Once I applied rosin to the bow, the instrument was ready to play and produced a surprisingly pure sound. I do recommend using a mute for quieter practice sessions. I purchased scale stickers separately, which fit perfectly and are very helpful. My only suggestion for improvement would be to include spare strings, as I accidentally broke the fragile E-string and had to buy a replacement set. Overall, it’s a high-quality instrument for the price, and I highly recommend it
